A disappointing stay at golden guest house - majestic. My recent stay at the golden guest house - majestic was unfortunately a less-than-ideal experience. The initial interaction with the receptionist set a negative tone. Despite knowing our language limitations, he insisted on speaking in kannada, making communication difficult and frustrating. While he eventually switched to hindi and english, his overall demeanor was rude and unfriendly. A more serious issue arose with the handling of my aadhaar card. The receptionist took it but failed to return it, even though i was occupied with carrying luggage up the steep and narrow stairs to the second floor (as there was no lift, a significant inconvenience for my elderly mother who has joint pain. The room itself was another disappointment. It was cramped, especially for two people, with minimal space to move around the king-size bed. The lack of a bathroom mat and the consistently wet floor were unhygienic and inconvenient. Additionally, poor mobile signal reception within the room hindered communication. Overall, the golden guest house - majestic fell short of expectations in terms of both service and basic amenities. It's disheartening to encounter such a negative experience, especially when traveling with elderly family members.
