The homestay is very far from Lava Bazar and requires a steep climb, with barely any eateries nearby. Managed by two polite but inexperienced women, the property was poorly maintained. The room smelled earthy, had insects on floors and walls, no drinking water, limited lighting, and frequent power cuts. Though a geyser was present, no hot water came. Outside, it was pitch dark with no street lights, and we were the only guests despite peak season. Food options were limited to badly made chowmein, and no breakfast was offered. I would not recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean. The food was nice. The host tara and his team are very friendly and approachable. The homestay is at the edge of lava and hence offers a peaceful and quiet ambience. It is located at the edge of a forest and hence is great for bird watching. The hide at the homestay attracts many varieties of birds like leothrix, whistling thush, laughing thrush, min-la etc.

Amazing place for birders or those who want to be close to nature this place is a one min walk from neora national park entertance the family here took good care of me and helped me with everything.

Perfect place for nature lovers. Just about 600m from main lava town and this place is overlooking neora forest. The food served is by far the best that i had in hills. Sumptuous food with large portions and good taste. Loved the place. Kudos to management for the same. The only that we missed in that due to some issues they have no tc connections working presently, but that is secondary.

Had a calm and peaceful stay at feather's indie homestay. Great food, breathtaking view from the room, friendly staff. They inf-act facilitated our sightseeing and day's activity in a very professional manner. This place is indeed a good value for money
