Worst hotel. Worst experience

Horrible experience. Room conditions was very bad. Stinking. Small room. Stain bed sheet. No basic toiletries, you have to ask. Only one housekeeping staff was available. Worst is bathroom. You have to pass your commode to have bath. Very small bathroom. Worst hotel and experience in my life. Only one positive point receptionist was very polite and very soft spoken.

Location is fine however they have refuse to provide meals (direct payment) as it was closed during that dates. We had faced big trouble with bedbugs due to which my 6 years daughter and 71 years mother was not able to sleep on day 1. On day 2 they have changed the room.

Complaint regarding unpleasant stay at hotel zambala retreat

familyAm writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your establishment on 20-jun e -2024 the experience was far from satisfactory, forcing us to move to another hotel the next morning. I would like to highlight the key issues we encountered: 1. *room cleanliness: the condition of the room, specifically room number 201, was unacceptable. There was visible fungi near the bedside, which poses serious health risks and indicates a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. 2. *food quality: the food served was distasteful and inedible, forcing us to leave it uneaten. I have attached a picture to illustrate the poor quality of the food provided. 3. *service issues: despite requesting the manager, mr. to change the quilt four times, he remained engrossed in watching the india-afghanistan match. It was only after multiple requests late into the night that he finally instructed his staff to address our request. 4. *unprofessional behavior: during checkout, i attempted to provide constructive feedback to mr. the front desk associate, regarding the importance of maintaining hygiene for the benefit of the hotel's reputation. His response was extremely unprofessional and arrogant. He stated, "bahut dekhe reviews aap logi ke matter nahi krta", dismissing our concerns with "kuch nahi hota, tum log fir bhi aaoge ghumne" this level of service and attitude from your staff is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. I urge the senior management to take these points into serious consideration and address the issues to prevent such incidents from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the steps that will be taken to rectify these issues.

familyThe room size was very small and some staff members were very arrogant specially in providing the basic amenities. Bed sheets were dirty and the towels were in bad condition, the staff hadn’t replaced even after asking. It is close to the market as well as the station.

familyFirstly, the card stopped working the second day and had to wait quite a lot time to get into the room. Then, limited items were available from the menu. No ice or cold drinks even though mentioned in the menu. Sheets were stained and had to ask to get the room cleaned. Since it is very close to railway station. familyRoom handover was super late. Main door lock was broken and had to be repaired. Bathroom fixtures were broken. Overall service quality is very very poor. Staff should check the rooms before handing over to the customers, as a customer it should not be us who has to bring these things to the hotels notice and then get these addressed when we are supposed to relax during our vacation.

It’s a kilometre away from mall but worth it. Mall is crowded while this place gives you the nostalgic view of toy trains coming and leaving along with a breathtaking clear vjew of the kanchenjunga! 10/10
