Review Of Etho Metho Hotel

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The images were completely misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the rooms. We had specifically booked certain rooms based on what was shown, but upon arrival, we were given entirely different ones—smaller, poorly maintained, and clearly not what we paid for. When we brought this up with the staff, they were not very helpful and offered resolution was not followed through. On top of that, the food served at the hotel was barely edible, lacking both taste and quality. Cleanliness was another major letdown — common areas and rooms were not well maintained, and basic hygiene standards were not met. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations and was not worth the money. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere unless the management takes serious steps to improve both transparency and service quality.

The overall stay was average on whole, the rooms was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was too small. The only disappointing thing was the laundry. The amities lists laundry, but when we ask for it, they got the clothes from us and returned it soaking wet and asked us to dry it by ourselves. They could have just said no instead.

Good room with heater facility. I personally reduce 1 rating for food which is below poor. I ordered fried rice and informed them about vegetarian also no Mushroom but still rice was provided with Mushroom. Also, buffet was not good. For Gujarati this hotel is not at all good for food. However manager and staff are good.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained, good service, aesthetically decorated. Food is good. Good location with lovely view of the hills from the rooms.

Etho metho hotel in lachung provided us with the best experience in lachung. From the hotel, you can see the snow-covered mountains, and it has the best staff. The restaurant is beautiful, both outdoor and indoor. The rooms have a great view. It was the best stay.

One of the worst hotels i must say of my visit to sikkim. Too small room space, none of the charging sockets are working. No hot water in that low temperature weather, after requesting we got few buckets of warm water. Restaurant was too small and overcrowded that we had to wait to get a table. Food quality was poor.

Stayed in attic room, good linen, clean bathroom blower were provided, food is good over all nice experience

I would say the team at e tho met-ho who run the place have a hell lot to learn on how to run a property, be it maintenance of the property or the restaurant. The location is good and that's about it. Our experience was not good.

We loved the hospitality by wonderful staff at etho metho. All thanks to mr. Sushan rai, dawa, thandup, s pardhan, rohan for making our stay a memorable one and chefs prabin, padan gurung for the delicious food. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family visiting lachung.

There was no power in two days no sufficient food heater was not run due to no power they have run the generator for two hours per day

Food is very good esp. North indian food, which is hard to get in the area. Would like to recommend further. Thanks

Needs more perfection. Wastage of money. Need training. How to respond customer needs. There was no body to respond. We were waiting to search for person/ staff

Actual rooms were not matching with the pictures. Staff was asking extra money for rooms. Unhygienic rooms and bathrooms. Bed conditions were too poor. Non supportive staff.

Hotel looks nice from outside but very poor rooms. No facilities. Heater was provided after a lot fight by many customers. They include breakfast and if they provide packed breakfast they provide 2 slice of bread and fruty. Very poor. Every body local knows that we need to start for local site view by 6. 30 to 7 am then why they start break fast at 8 am. No one should stay here. In north e sikkim tour please don't pay to include breakfast. Waste of money.

I find this hotel on make my trip. Hotrl was good. Standard room not good. Food is ok not so good. Staff is weary help full.

I t was not a memorable experience at lachung. The hotel is situated in an extremely beautiful and picturesque location. But the room allocated on prior booking was way below the quality of a standard deluxe room as suggested at that exorbitant price. Moreover the room was suffocating without proper ventilation. Even the room was not made up prior to allotment. The bed linens were dirty and unclean. The toilet didn't have proper amenities. We didn't have food from the hotel. Overall experience was not at all satisfactory

Location is good and very comfortable stay. Staffs are also very polite. Only problem is with restaurant which is running mismanaged there but i guess management of the restro is not good. Hotel and stay is awesome, i give 4. 5 out of 5 and for restro i’ll give 1 star.

No water in the morning no one to attended packed breakfast only one small size single sandwich lunch only rice and noodles with one vegetable service was very poor. For every thing we have to ask. Towels were dirty. Overall it was very bad experience
