Wow!! Such a lovely and delightful experience in staying at Dumas Guest House. Beautifully maintained property, calm and quiet atmosphere, full of greenery, tasteful breakfast, and most importantly, courteous and helpful staff. Balaji was very polite and helpful. Rock beach, food street, shops, restaurants, medical, clinics, all are just walking distance away. Very much recommended for a pleasant stay in Pondicherry.

Great stay next to the beach.
Really good experience overall. Nice cozy place right next to the beach. This is an old French styled villa modified and the beauty is evident. Service was great and no room service on offer, but everything else is taken care of.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed at! I was travelling with my grandmother and mother and they all truly lover it. It is lush green, very well maintained, and right in front of the beach! :D the staff was very sweet, friendly, and welcoming! I would definitely want to come back to this place 😇

Excellent Stay
The location was quite perfect, I could walk to a lot of good places. The beach was also really close. The property was amazing, it was really cute. Very spacious, very aesthetic and very homely, the staff was also very helpful.

Excellent Stay
familyWe had a wonderful three nights stay at dumas guest house. It was a charming heritage property. Very nice and friendly owner and staff. We loved our homely breakfast each day. The best part is its excellent location just 2 mins walk from the promenade beach front. Most of the famous eateries and restaurants were within 5-10 mins walk.

familyVery neat and spacious room. Very near to the beach. Staff was very courteous. Lot of eateries nearby. They don’t have car parking. You can park in the street which may be tricky sometimes

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Service: the service was decent, but not exceptional. Staff were generally polite and helpful, though there were a few minor delays in response times, especially during check-in and check-out. Overall, it felt like a solid 3/5. Breakfast: unfortunately, the breakfast was a letdown. The selection was limited and the quality was subpar, with items running out quickly and not being replenished. It was a disappointing start to the day, so i’d rate it a 1/5. Location: on the positive side, the hotel’s location was fantastic. It was conveniently situated close to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. I’d give the location a solid 4/5. In summary, while the location was great, the breakfast and service left much to be desired.

Old world charm
familyThe guest house is run by a 70 year old affable and nice lady She keeps supervising. The rooms in the property have a quaint vibe, and are full of old world charm. Nice place, very good location and well mannered staff.

Average Stay
Room was good but wifi signals were very bad. Also, breakfast was disappointing - just had fruits, toast and omelette. Also, room lacked few basic things like full view mirror and iron etc. Not worth the money spent

A very pleasant stay at Dumas guest house. The best part is that it is close to explore all the places. Very beautiful place to stay with all the beautiful plants around. Very well maintained property. Had a great stay.

Great experience
The stay was amazing and the entire staff is very polite and accommodating. Its on the prime location as the beach is approx 1 min walking.
