Review Of Cloyster resort and spa

The food was very poor.... Servicing was Bad.... we ordered lunch at 2 pm and got at 3:45 PM...

The stay was very comfortable. Staff is friendly and polite. Location is bit off but then that's the fun in Jim Corbett. Overall it was a good stay.

The stay went very well since we entered the premises. Staff , food , service was excellent. The hotel staff was polite and provided us with everything to make our stay comfortable.

Clean room great food overall great experience

The rooms were as per the property photos, neat and clean. The food was quite good, we opted for all meals and the variety each time was great. One minus point is that Airtel SIM gets no reception and you'll be dependent on the property WiFi.

Very peaceful surrounding tasty food and very good and well mannered staf rooms are very spacious and clean. Would like to visit again safe for family stay.

Think before booking this property. First of all they call it pet friendly however asked me to keep pet my inside room and when I confronted them then they said ok you can take him outside. They have not mentioned that they will charge for the pet stay as well anywhere while booking this property neither did they advised when i called to confirm the booking & property being pet friendly or not. Plus they have non-refundable policy so if you book and then later found out such issues, then you’re screwed. Rooms were dirty has foul smell, bedsheets were dirty ( had hairs, weird spots etc.), Room service was terrible ( had to call again and again ) and worst of all the food menu is so Over the Top for such meagre property you’ll be shocked!! - 1 cup Tea for 80/-, 1 cup Coffee for a 90/-, Maggi for 150/- per plate, Pakora for 300/- per plate, Salad for 350/-, Tawa Roti for 50/- per piece, Dal Makhani for 350/- per plate, Jeera Aloo for 320/- per plate. Breakfast Buffet was also so basic ( it actually felt like a roadside vendor street food). No parking provision inside there SO-CALLED RESORT, had to park my cars at a place that had rough patches (not even a path) with long branches, overgrown grass, insects, bugs, lizards whatnot and way was so steep (you’ll definitely get a scratch on your car) PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM SUCH HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!!!

Good property. Costly food not that good. Not up to mark.

This hotel offers an average experience. The pricing for the meal plan may be deceiving for food enthusiasts as the buffet is quite limited. The pool, while clean, can be off-putting due to the way chlorine is added. The recreational area is okay, with some amusing but damaged equipment. The hotel staff appears to be doing their best, but guests may also share some responsibility for their experience. In summary, it's an okay choice, but i'd recommend considering other 4-star options in the area.

Excellent service and good work and great work

Stay was average. As our stay was 3days 2nights.except room size nothing was good. First things was staff was not updated with proper information about their own resort manager was not available to take queries.As we were late to check in rooms was not ready. So much struggle was their to check in no staff was Ava to carry luggage more over it was raining outside they don’t have umbrellas to provide.rooms was filled with Faul Oder even after asking they was not able to provide room fresher . As when we reach no welcome drink was served after ordering tea from restaurant they was not instrested to provide.food was average .overall it was not worth it. overall it was not even worth for 1000 .need to work on hospitality too. Would never come back to this resort.

Both were pathetic. In the morning buffet milk was just water. Food was tasteless. It took 2:30 hours to the hotel to give the room. After that tere was so much of sealen smell in the room. Worst stay experience till now. My second property was far much better then this one. I am glad that i haven’t booked this property for my second day stay.

I stayed for 1 night with my family. Room was spacious and clean. Location was ok, food was also pretty good. Swimming pool facility also was there.

Property was good and well maintained but the main issue i face that the wifi, wi-fi was not working properly and the resort area was completely in no service range. Their is no signals of air-tel and vodafone properly no service zone and the wi-fi was also have no internet.

Cloyster is one of the best properties in jim corbett. The rooms are huge, spot clean and come with a private balcony. The property has a huge swimming pool and an activity room which will keep you occupied. The resort organizes karaoke nights and live singing, with bonfire to make evenings memorable. And the best part - the food is scrumptious ( do try the curry chicken, we absolutely loved it) overall, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

Cloyster is an excellent property with amazing food, ambience and rooms. It is for those who want to stay away from the harsh metro life. Amazing place to spend time

It is a 3 star property. Please do not go by the ratings. The property is in a poor shape, deteriorating. Poorly maintained. Unclean. Average food. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has a habit of staying in luxury 4 stars. This is not a 4 star at all. A 2 star but pool makes it 3 star.

Positives;. Good and secluded location of property and it's well built. Well balanced between concrete and nature. Good swimming pool and sport facilities available like table tennis, snooker and foosball. Food price and quality are ok. No strict rules so you can freely bring your own food and alcohol from outside or get into pool even if you don't have a swimming costume. Can host gathering with loud music etc negatives;. Need to work on service and housekeeping. Not a 4 star standard at all. Parking for customer is not planned but you need to park your car in the open dusty area in jungle. Very limited options for food items for a 4 star property. No network and hotel's wifi is of no use. You can't even web search using their useless wifi. You're literally disconnected even from each other. Very frequent power cuts. You need to call reception every 1 hour to fix tv ( i have a kid so need tv) all in all, i could easily rate it 4. 5 ratings if the management and staff improve their services to a 4 star standard and electricity issue is sorted
