Review Of Chinar Group of Houseboats

It was a pleasant experience. The staff made us feel welcome right from the first phone call, to arrival, through the stay, and till departure. The service was prompt and perfect. The beds were warm and we got the most comfortable sleep in many days. The food is good, and specially the kawa which was served almost any time of the day, is one of the best we had during our 8 night stay in kashmir. Special thanks for shiraz for being nice and patient with all our requests. The location is good as well, and they provided personal shikara for pick and drop from ghat 17.

1) there was no electricity, so we weren't able to charge the phone. 2) used pillows were provided, they weren't clean. 3) there was no toilet paper. 4) the room was smelly. 5) they will not provided a lock key for the room, even if you ask. So if you go outside the houseboat, your luggage will be at the mercy of god. 6) spider web in room. 7) breakfast will be up-ma and poha.

My special guest came from indonesia, who did not see snow in his country, he stay with me here. First they stop heater in 2 & half hours, than electricity goes in the midnight, rooms goes too much cold in minus 4 degree temperature. How people can sleep here in this temperature.

China group of houseboats was a pleasant stay however they can improve on providing food better options. Also there should be renovation done in rooms as the rooms look very old based on the prices they charg. They should opt for renovation of carpets and beds. Bathroom was good however water was a problem. When we asked few times then water came. Location of house boat is excellent though. We enjoyed the shikara ride the most.

It was nice place to stay. The food and hospitality was veer good.

It is a nicely decorated and well maintained houseboat, which can be reached by a 15 minutes shikara ride from ghat. The manager and stuff were very polite and co-operative. Would love to stay there again

We stayed in this hotel for two days and the experience was great. The atmosphere of the hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel staff was very helpful, had a very kind talk and got a lot of help from the hotel for the rest of the tourist spots. The hotel owner was very helpful and treated like a family. Also breakfast and lunch very tasty different dishes are made every day. overall our experience is very Good. I'd love to go there again thank You Very Much for all🙏🏻🙏🏻
