The homestay is an authentic cottage, built old style. The place is at an awesome spot, walking distance to wards lake and police bazar centre. The caretakers were kind and helpful. We stayed in a family room with complementary breakfast, however if solo they have a mesmerising skywatching bunk bed room. Pic attached.

The property is located away from the main road, inaccessible by cab or any other local taxies. No food was available, no nearby restaurants as it is a residential area, not well populated. No proper amenities, not even packaged drinking water available. The rooms were dirty, felt wet, smelly, no proper ventilation, no ceiling fans. Only good thing is the caretaker who is helpful. Not worth the price.

Horrible stay experience..no water served without asking .same mattress everyday..no wash room clean

1. Bed is average but blanket is dirty 2. Geyser was not working for family suit room 3. Water coming from health faucet is very slow etc. 4. Caretaker behaviour was awesome.

The place was really Good, it was easier to access to city center and other shopping places. Very quiet and serene environment. However if there was heater and access to Hot water it would have made the experience even better. A kettle would be appreciated too

It’s totally bad experience. room was so dirty and hotel owners behaviour was bed.

Cute little property with clean beds and easily accessible location to police bazar, polo bazar and igp point. Very attentive and helpful caretaker.

No fooding, no coffee no tea, food from zomato, walking 5 mints wards lake, no fan, so look out when you are planning to travel

Only cheating. I send you money but aura coutage not given me room. It is very very bad. Please refund me imegetly. Not given to room to me. That's very bad. Make my trip is only take money but not give any room. Whole night we spend night in our car. I want to talk to your response person

No one attendent to received me, no sleepar in room both, washroom & bed room, tv dth not recharged, improper bad light

Only food is the problem only order by zomato and nearby shop you have to walk 10 minutes to police bazaar

Plesent stay, great location, great rooms, great room service and other amenaties, overall experience is great

While booking the picture showed as 1 room booking for 1 per person, but post booking shared room was alloted. Now although i was alone, being cold, tap at washroom were not working (no clue if the same were forzen) nor the hot gyser were working. There was no lawn as shown in picture. No living room. No parking too. What is shown in picture the place was totally different at police bazar where i went and stayed. Tye picture uploaded of cottage is of not police bazar but of another place. No clue where. Amount charged was too high for shared room that also in a cottage.

It was great experience, every comfortable place at a good price. The place was very simple but beautiful

I have found the location by using google map. They have provide 1 towel only ( we have family, so that they need to provide us at least 2 towel). They have also need to provide us toothbrush & paste & samphoo, but they didn't do that. Overall its okay, not excellent

Cottage is very near to police bazar but more maintenance required also furnitures are very old, makes difficult to store garments. It is budget friendly, good for 2n stay.

It's a 4 bed mixed dorm out of which i booked 2 beds under the pretext that i booked a room. 7. 1k for 2 beds in a mixed dorm room for 2 days. 1. 8k for a bed per night is not the rate anywhere in india. I stayed in meghalaya for a week and shillong is also not that expensive during this time of the year. Better go there and book rooms.

A very secluded, difficult to reach place. There is no geyser in the bathroom. The rooms we were given were claustrophobic. Would not recommend at all.

Nice location, but the owners need to work on their electrical appliances and plug-points. With flawed plug points, switching on the heater or switching it off were accompanied with sparks in the literal sense of the word. Shillong winters at a homestay should ensure safer use of electric kettle, heater etc. I don’t think one can have a comfortable stay without using these, and using it scares the hell out! they need to work on providing better blankets too: those were really cheap quality kept in the cupboards. For all its cozy look, the facilities should have been better.
