SPRINGSIDE HERITAGE

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay and would highly recommend it to others. The hospitality was exceptional—on one occasion, we accidentally locked the bathroom door from the inside, and the hosts went above and beyond to resolve the issue promptly, without any extra charges. Despite returning late some evenings, they were always accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. The property itself was stunning—far better than what the pictures suggested. It was spacious, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Housekeeping was efficient, and there was no shortage of water or electricity. The amenities provided were great, and the location was convenient and well-situated. The only minor issue was that we couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi during our stay. However, the mobile reception was strong, so it wasn’t much of a problem. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d love to stay here again!

We travelled as a group and the key was given to one of my friends, the caretaker contacted us the day we left about the keys and i wasn’t aware of who he gave the keys too so i left a rather casual reply. But once we reached home the caretaker called me again and asked me to talk to the owner, I complied and once i talked to her she started hurling insults at me and claiming that the key we lost were keys to op’s weld.I’ve been in the hardware business for a while and i know these prices but the owner threatened me so much i was inclined to pay for a lost bunch of keys I wasn’t even handed.

It was like a home away from home. A great ambience for a small group of family members looking for a quiet and cozy stay. The host mrs. Jay a kalra made us feel so welcomed throughout the stay. You will definitely feel like a homely environment in this homestay whenever you are planning for a trip to shillong. 5 stars from my end.
