Amatra by the Ganges is a stunning property with breathtaking views of the Ganga. The serene surroundings make it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, adding to the relaxing experience. A special mention to Pankaj and Manoj, who were extremely polite, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. The hospitality truly stood out. The only drawback was the WiFi connectivity, which needs a significant upgrade for smoother browsing and faster speeds.

overall an above average stay
Stay was okay however the amount they charge cannot be justified by the amount of facilities. The food was tasty but some of the utensils were not clean.

Excellent Stay
2 days ago It was A very Very comfortable stay at Amatra. Though the approach roads (bylanes rather) are very narrow and confusing. But as soon as you enter the resort premises, you find a different world in there. Huge property with well maintained lawns, amazingly designed villas, beautifully decorated huge rooms, sumptous breakfast and food, Ganga Arti during evening hours, Ganga River tributary flowing just outside the resort: it all made our stay very memorable. Definitely Worth Staying!

Overall the resort is quite beautiful with view of the Ganga ji and a big garden. But as a recommendation they should have more variety in their morning buffet as the items were limited and they should plan for some small ghat at the side of Ganga ji. Additionally the rooms are also pretty and aesthetic.

One of the better resorts in Haridwar
The location is excellent. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful (5/5) but the resort some limitations like only had 1 restaurant and limited items available. For instance in deserts Every night they served only gulabjamun and moongdal halwa (which i in jest asked the server about how many days will it take to finish the lot before they make another desert.

Terrible Amenities & Service, Electricity Issues, Lacks Basic Hospitality
The property is not bad at all on it’s own, but the amenities and services are too pathetic to call it a luxury / premium hotel. 1) The electricity constantly had issues entire night and the room was not able to get chilled because of that, that extended to morning and even the water in the shower kept getting cut off. 2) what made the experience absolutely worse was the fact that @breakfast we had opted for 5 pax and 4 of the guests went for breakfast and they kept arguing that they only have breakfast booking for 3 pax and they made us all run around to explain, and at last when they checked the booking it was indeed for 4 pax. If the property was half decent they’d sat us down and checked on their own. In conclusion, it doesn’t live at all to it’s price and not at all worth going.

Regarding the breakfast confusion, we would like to clarify that your booking included three rooms—02 without any meal plan and 01 room with breakfast for two guests. Our team verified this at the restaurant and later rechecked the booking details, which confirmed that breakfast was included for two persons only. We understand the inconvenience this may have caused and truly wish the matter could have been resolved more smoothly. At our property, we strive to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for every guest. A very well maintained, aesthetic and landscaped resort property next to the Ganges. Scale of property is absolutely correct. Villas are ideal for groups of friends to visit together.Staff is very attentive and courteous. Food choices are plenty and tasty. only drawback for elderly persons visiting is that restaurant is on first floor and a lift arrangement should be made. Something also needs to be done for the mosquitos in the evening. Accessibility to the hotel has improved tremendously. One can easily take a bath in the river Ganges and see it from the room

Great relaxing weekend destination
The property location was good having a scenic view of both mountains and river Ganga. The food was fresh and delicious, their pahari rajma is a must have. Special mention for hospitality to Mr. Manish, Chandrashekhar, Shivangi and Chef Negi & Chef Gopal. The spa crew was also polite, well groomed and services were soothing. Overall a great stay!!
