I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with the housekeeping and service. When I checked in, the room appeared fine at first glance, but I noticed that the bedsheet and duvet cover had stains. I tried calling the reception using the in-room telephone, but there was no response. Later, I was shifted to another room, but unfortunately, the same issue persisted — the bedsheet and duvet cover were stained again, and the washroom floor was wet and hadn’t been cleaned properly.
Since the room telephone was not working or ignored, I had to call the reception using my mobile phone. Only then did they respond and send a housekeeping staff member. He initially tried to reuse the same stained duvet cover but eventually changed it after I insisted. However, he did not replace the stained bedsheet and casually said, “There’s just a small stain, it’s not a problem—you can use it.”
This experience was very disappointing. I used to book this hotel regularly and had good experiences in the past, but this time the service was far below expectations. It seems the staff is not properly trained and the management is not attentive. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves its housekeeping standards and responsiveness.
