Review Of A's Holiday Beach Resort

A's holiday is an excellent property to stay in south Goa (especially for family with kids). Good location, good staff and amenities and geberous host. There's a pool to relax and staff comes to cook you breakfast in your duplex villa.

Excellent resort. Great view good food

Breakfast was superb. Chef prepares food in front of you. Pool, villa and overall property is clean and neat. Towels are replaced everyday. Friendly owner and staff. 24*7 security person at the property, cameras are in place. Centrally located. Most of the sights are at a distance of 40-45 mins away on two-wheeler.

We had booked a boutique apartment, from MMT based on images and location shown on the APP. But apartments are based at a different location around 1km far by road. The owner had upgraded our stay in villa as we had denied staying at those shady apartments. And villas were situated beautiful location and were well maintained.

It creates lots of difference with services and quality while staying here is an awesome experience

Location is near to Sunset Beach even majurda Beach is also near. Spacious apartment. Tasty breakfast. Owner is nice and hospitable.

Location was good as it was close to some beaches and some fine restaurant.
Nearby was not that cool. But nearest beaches are good.

The villas are good and well maintained. Pool was not that good or usable. Transport is required as there are no shops nearby. Only breakfast is provided which is good. But rest of the day the hotel does not have any food and you have to depend on Fishkas. Fishkas has good service and comes fast. The place is a bit lonely and it is better to go or stay in big groups or family. They are starting a cave so that might help in terms of food shortage. Overall good experience except for lack of food at the premises.
Rooms were good and attention to detail was appreciated.

The location is very peaceful and has a swimming pool. The maid who prepared breakfast cooks really well. The owner is very helpful. He helped us in getting cab to airport and didn't charged extra for the extended or late check-out.

The Hotel is very nice and very clean and the owner is a great guy makes sure that your stay is a great one. The villas feel like home.

I went there with my fiance and it was an amazing experience. The villas are well equipped with all modern amenities and the staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Agis for making our stay memorable and beautiful.

It was a random decision which made us to choose this place and we never had to regret about it. A's Holiday resort is a Self sustained semi detached villa with clean rooms, bathrooms and all the facilities you need and a fully equipped kitchen.There is even washing machine! A clean swimming pool at the back of the villa. Very near to a beautiful beach and ideal for anyone who need peace and quiet during the trip. Helpful staff and transport on request. There are few fine restaurants within walking distance. If you want to make your trip a unforgettable moment, we, a small family from Sweden recommend you to stay at A's Holiday resort.

I stayed in the villa basically the row house, 2 bedrooms, a big living room and a kitchen. Attached common swimming pool which was more or less private due to less occupancy of the resort. The location however is remote and one must have a car or a bike. The breakfast taste is good, however, options are very limited. One need to decide today morning about what to eat next day, difficult when you are in vacation. Limited staff and no cafe or restaurant facility near by. Owner is cooperative.

Very good service provided by Deepa who was one point contact during entire stay for everything. Breakfast was good, not a boufet just one item like aloo paratha, puribhaji, etc but was nice and served hot everyday. Poha served on one day weren't good though. The location is such that your own vehicle or rented one is a must. We had our car so wasn't an issue. Rooms were nice and spacious with kitchen and washing machine. Cleaning was bit lacking but was immediately corrected when notified. Overall a pleasant stay, value for money.

I had a visit to this place with my family. Rooms are really big in size and well maintained. Food: we had complimentary breakfast and Mrs Deepa is really amazing and helpful. She cooked amazing breakfast and additional helped with cooking fish with goan recipes Accessibility: 15 mins drive to Colva beach and 15 mins to Margao market but car is must to commute.

The owner though trying to be helpful but was boring us with his unnecessary unasked for comments and stories, dos and don'ts, mostly don'ts like don't stain the white blanket. The area is too far for having cheap local transport. The local taxi union has formed cartel wherein no outside betalbatim area taxi operator is allowed to pick up guests so you end up paying them their monopolistic high costs. Beach is 5-10 mins walk, good but no lighting makes it dark and unsafe in late evenings.

The stars that are given really cannot speak about the uniqueness of the accommodations. One size fits all cannot justify travel. 'Adventure vacation off the beaten path' will be more appropriate than the 'Resort' nomenclature. The accommodation is the last building on the street leading to the beach. The beach itself is about 5 minutes walk on the dirt road set among the paddy fields. Outside the high tide period, the beach is flat, could be good for swimming, walking etc. During high tide one can see the ferociousness of the sea. We, a party of 5 adults, took the double bed room villa accommodations that has common areas on the bottom floor and two bedrooms on the upper floor. The cook/chef cooks the guest's chosen breakfast in the villa (provided he has done it before). It was really good to have food ready on the table! The cleaning staff is good and could work around the guest's schedule. The accommodations are secure with 24/7 security guard and gated premises. There are about 6 villas and there is a swimming pool behind the villas. The umbrellas around the pool seem not to function. Hot water is made possible by solar heat, was not as piping hot as in other commercial establishments. During the night, we had to ask the security to switch on the water heater located outside the accommodations and the most we got was lukewarm. So, we heated water in pans over the kitchen stove when we wanted hot water at 2AM. This is a super accommodation for an adventure traveler who does not expect material luxuries, spas, fitness centers, restaurants and such other sophisticated amenities and this is what we wanted after touring the super luxurious hotels of the world. Something basic but functional. We got about 80% of what we wanted. Of course, with our high bar on quality, no establishment in this world can reach 100%!!! We very much liked the accommodations and will stay there when we return to Goa. Our special thanks goes to Aggie who was extremely helpful in looking after our needs during our stay in Goa. He has provided us with transportation (cars/taxi) during our stay. He is willing to go that extra mile to satisfy our needs. A nice person to work with.

It's almost perfect hotel for anybody who want to stay cool and calm location. Rooms are excellent with excellent service. Foods are awesome. A very special thing is that it's near to betalbatim beach only 5 mins walking distance.

The villa accommodation was very nice and the facilities given in the villa helped us enjoy the holiday even more. We would surely recommend this resort to others. One needs to hire a set of wheels to go to various beaches and eateries nearby as there are not too many options near the villa. Very peaceful and beautiful experience!
