I had one of the worst experiences during my stay at this hotel. The food was just average and definitely not worth the price. The swimming pool was dirty and clearly not maintained regularly. Most disappointing of all, the rooms were unhygienic — cleanliness was a major issue. Overall, not recommended and I won’t be returning

I was really disappointed with the room cleanliness. The bed sheets and pillow covers had visible stains (as shown in photos), which made the stay uncomfortable. For the price and expectations, basic hygiene should be maintained — especially fresh, clean linen.

Our stay was very disappointing. The rooms were unclean, and the runner, towels, and pillows looked like they had never been washed. The bathroom toiletries were of extremely poor quality, and even the commode was broken. Dinner was served in broken plastic plates and pots, which was completely unacceptable. The swimming pool was not maintained at all – despite multiple guests using it daily, it wasn’t cleaned even once during our two-day stay. On top of that, the TV was not working, and the intercom in the room didn’t function either. Even after several complaints, no one came to fix these issues. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at Hotel De Grand Riviera for 3 days, and the biggest advantage is its location—very close to Calangute Beach, making it convenient to explore North Goa. The rooms were decent and equipped with all required amenities. A thoughtful addition is the sofa that converts into a small bed, which is really useful if you’re traveling with one or two kids. However, hygiene was a concern. Perhaps due to the rainy season, the cleanliness wasn’t up to the mark. The main issue was housekeeping—not changing bed sheets daily even after requests, and on some days not even providing water bottles. This definitely needs improvement. Aesthetic-wise, don’t blindly go by the photos uploaded by the owners. While the rooms are fine and comfortable, the real look is simpler than advertised. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly stay option with a great location and basic amenities, but hygiene and housekeeping standards need to be improved for a better guest experience.

Reception is good.... room little older but neatly maintained.... little smell in room before using it.........

Food is bad, kitchen guy is super rude. Broken furniture, TV not working , rooms are not clean , what they mentioned the room is just opposite.

The service was extremely slow and unhelpful. The room was not clean, had maintenance issues, and the amenities promised were missing. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Stay was disappointing. Food quality was poor, facilities were not maintained, and location was noisy. Definitely not worth the price.

Property's location, food , amenities and services provided were very good. Room facilities and accommodation were very good and every necessary things required were all available.Hence overall our stay was excellent.

Food was of average quality. Rooms were somewhat smelly. They should give *iron* in the room. Rest all was good. Room service was good.

The room lacked basic amenities like toothbrushes and washroom accessories. The dinner on day one was subpar, prompting us to dine out on days two and three. Unfortunately, the dinner we had at the hotel on day four triggered a health issue in my elder daughter. Given our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone." Inform them to change the bed spread which was fully blood stains never recommend this in future and AC it was not working later they changed the room and wash room exhaust not working

Room not clearing samel and shower the is no working oly no tap in shower on morning we dent get breakfast no manting wit staff not reposing properly

Pathetic service, rooms stinks like anythin and room service person gives strict instructions stating not to call on intercom and disturb and not at all value for money... total vaste of money

The hotel is located at a centre point where local market and beaches are nearby. The hotel is beautifully designed and rooms are pretty nice with great view. We got a pool facing room which was beautiful with great room service. The food is really good. I had taken a package of breakfast and dinner with was incredibly tasty. A must visit. Staff is really great. If I again plan to visit Goa, this is going to be my go to hotel :)
