Trust me with my experience, its not worth the money you are going to pay for this resort, the rooms are big but it is totally cut off from the other places, beach was beautiful but hardly any people around, we wanted to cancel our rest of the stay but was not able to all thanks to makemytrip. Com through whom we had booked our stay, I was not at all happy with the way makemytrip handled my request, learnt my lesson and never to pay in advance for any hotel accommodation. OK, Let me mention that the staff was very good they did what they can but only issue was the location of this resort.

Location was good. Size of the room was also good however cleanliness was average. There was no door bell, no intercom facility. The furniture was in pathetic condition. Dogs were roaming here and there. Cups were provided without plates. Door mates were very shabby.

  • Mixed review for monsoon stay

We stayed here on a discount deal during the monsoon in September and had a mixed experience. The resort is in a lovely location with nicely kept grounds, coconut trees and direct access to the beach. We stayed in a beach suite, which had sea views and three large rooms: a beautifully decorated bedroom and lounge, slightly let down by a mouldy bathroom with leaking ceiling and wildlife. It's a shame the roof hadn't been fixed to keep the rain out, I imagine it will be sorted and redecorated for high season, but it was disappointing as the rest of the accommodation was lovely! Note there were no mosquito nets not a problem in the beach suites where you can seal the bedroom off (and they would spoil the effect of the four-poster beds! ), But if I was staying in a one-room cottage I think I'd bring a net if they weren't provided. The owner's son on the front desk was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the service elsewhere was generally poor. Our room wasn't cleaned during our three-night stay and the service in the restaurant was comical. The staff had to take our orders twice and still got them wrong or just didn't bother to bring what we asked for. Three days running we asked for fresh fruit from the breakfast menu and it never arrived once. On the first day the guy said they would need to order it and he would bring it to our room later, but never did. The next two days they just ignored us and we gave up asking. With fresh fruit easily available just down the road we really didn't think this was too much to ask for! We laughed off the negatives about this place and didn't make a fuss because were not the kind to do so, and because we got a good deal on a very nice cottage. It's probably different in high season. That being said, we would not pay full price to stay here.
