Things to Do in Zermatt

  • Wanderweg

A walk through the village walking trails or Wanderweg is one of the most romantic and relaxing experiences in Zermatt. Wanderweg is a term used to describe close to 50,000 kilometres of walking trails in Switzerland.

There are plenty of well-marked trails that will take you to the Alpine forests and ice-blue glaciers. You can opt for short forest trails, eat at restaurants offering the best local produce or enjoy live music in the evening.

  • Restaurant Rothorn

If you’re looking for some adventure accompanied by lip-smacking food then head out to Restaurant Rothorn on the summit of Mt. Rothorn at 3,100 metres.

The panoramic vistas of Matterhorn, while relishing warm food, is an experience you’ll never forget.
