Our anniversary stay at Taj Bengal (June 30-July 2) was a mix of exceptional service and disappointing mishaps. Miss Urbashi from hospitality was outstanding, providing invaluable support even while busy, and the food at Cal 27, Club Lounge, and Kishan Jhalmuri, along with housekeeping, was excellent. However, our departure was frustrating: our special anniversary invitation board was found severely damaged after being misplaced, a new pair of Manyavar shoes went missing from our room, and during car loading, a bouquet was damaged while our anniversary cake was spoiled due to torn packaging by the loading team, all despite efforts to assist.

Seamless solo business stay Stayed solo for a business trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The reception staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. My room was impeccably clean, with ample water and a great selection of premium snacks—perfect after a long day. The breakfast buffet had everything I could want. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. No wonder Taj remains the benchmark for excellence.

We had a great stay at Taj Bengal. It’s a centrally located property with the major tourist attractions in close vicinity. The Taj Bengal, Kolkata is well maintained and the dinner and breakfast buffet had a plentiful variety and it was tasty too. Would definitely recommend this property.

Its was a great stay, they allowed late check out as well, the breakfast spread was average though, but other room service was upto the mark
