Review Of Zambala Guest House

The homestay is located at the edge of a tiny hamlet situated between Kalimpong and Icche Gaon. The rooms offer and excellent view of the mountains. Our host Chiring was a thoroughly helpful gentleman and suggested several treks and day trips and also accompanied us to a viewpoint that offered an excellent view of the Mathu la and Jhandidara.

Hotel manager is too good. And other people also. Food quality is extremely good. Just love it

Room and bathroom was good and clean. Food was tasty and cheap. Tv channels are there. Overall recommended for the price.

Our stay at Zambala Guest House, Algarah, was really good as the ambience was quite peaceful and soothing. It was more like a homestay. The owner and his family members were friendly and hospitable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Behaviour of Guest House management was very good. Quality of food was good. Local people was very much friendly.

Serene and pleasing is what i'll describe the place as. Perfect place for families or people on a budget.

Good home stay but bathroom was lacking hand shower. Hospitality was very good. Taste of dinner show have been better as per North indian taste.

It's just a home stay. The owner was very good but the property is not suitable for a family.

Tv was not working. Curtains very thin. Bed was not comfortable.

Hotel rooms are good. In fact great. No complains. Food was super awesome. Like home. People were very polite, helpful. Though there were few problems. There was TV in the room, but the DTH was not recharged. Pillows were not that good. Only one led lamp. Bedside lamp holders were there but no bulbs. If you are planning for a great clean room with an awesome mountain view and sunset from room window, book the king's nest room. Would really like to visit again. Hope these problems will also be solved by then.

Room could have been a bit larger. There should be some initiative to clean the room particularly when the guest books room for 2 to 3 nights. However the view from the room is awesome. Hospitality of the management is excellent. Overall good experience in the Zambala guest house.

A very nice and a cosy stay. Very well maintained and great hospitality, had a quick halt here, but realised this place needs good 2-3 days . . The host was very sweet and attended to all our needs happily. Was glad spent some time here.

Best place to stay in the area of Kalimpong. Homely atmosphere with great hospitality. The owner and the other staff behavior is superb. Rooms are very clean and beautiful. Foods are fabulous. My recommendation is to stay in this Guest house if you want to stay in Kalimpong area. All the prices are very reasonable.

The guest house was nice and the owner was helpful. The food served was homely and good. However, location and electricity was the only issue. Location wise it is 15km from Kalimpong town and electricity was on and off.

It's totally homely atmosphere. Room was good but little bit of small. The behaviour of all the members are very well. Rooms are clean. Location is good. I like the hotel. It's a nice place to spend some time with family and friends also. Overall it's a good experience for me.

The view from the room was amazing.. We enjoyed the sunset sitting on the room. It was a perfect place to stay relaxed and feel the beauty of nature. The king of mountains " Kanchenjunga" can be seen by trekking. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
