My staycation in the heart of Chennai.
Woodlands Inn is an excellent hotel in the heart of the city Chennai. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Right from the warm welcome at the reception to the attentive service throughout my stay, everything was perfect. The room was clean, and well-maintained, with all modern amenities. As they don't have the in-, house resturant they allowed us to order food through Zomato/ Swiggy from Outside. The staff made sure every request was taken care of promptly. The hospitality truly exceeded my expectations, making me feel at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai and would definitely love to return. The plus point is it's strategic location (just opposite to the Chepauk Stadium) so the communication is great to the any point of the city.

It's an excellent little hotel. My single-bed room was only 1,300, but they could have easily charged twice as much for the quality. Everything in the room looks and feels new, the bathroom is super clean and has high-quality tiles and fixtures, and best of all there were no mosquitoes.

Honestly, an apt title. Really, exceeded all my expectations. Absolutely comfortably priced considering the location, just infront of Chepauk Stadium and walkable distance from Marina Beach good food options provided by hotel but I had my dinner from the mess infront of the hotel. Recommended!

The hotel is perfect. Everything in my room was shiny and new, especially in the bathroom. The Daikin AC was powerful enough, and the bathroom seemed to have unlimited hot water (probably from a solar water heater). Everyone here was friendly, too.
