Review Of Walnut Tree Pahalgam

Hotel is located infront of lidder river,location is good.It is about 13kms before pahalgam market.Stay was average.When we reached there were no other guest besides us.Staff was not very active on first day but service improved by second day.Food was good but price was a bit on higher side.Rooms were spacious and most of the amenities were provided.

Walnut Tree Pahalgam is a great hotel, it is outstanding, very clean, excellent staff and service, very good breakfast and a overall outstanding and comfortable experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Hotel Walnut Tree, Pahalgam. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfectly managed. A special thanks to Mr. Rouf for organizing my entire trip so smoothly — his attention to detail made my visit truly hassle-free. The food was delicious, and I would like to thank Mr. Sahil for serving such tasty and fresh meals every day. Mr. Zubair also deserves appreciation for his great coordination and warm hospitality throughout my stay. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my time here even more relaxing. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family visiting Pahalgam.

Soon after we checked in at the hotel between 2 pm to 2.30 pm on 7th july 2025, we came to know that the entire sightseeing is closed due to accident and mudslide/land slide on road between pahalgam and betaab valley which led us to check out within few minutes of our check in. Hence our stay in walnut Tree Hotel was terrible amidst disappointment.

We visited Pahelgam in the middle of March,2025. The hotel is located just beside the Reeder river, and beautiful location. the rooms are comfortable and are equipped with heaters for winter and so outer temperature doesn't affect at all. Staffs are very good and well behaved. They are courteous and are always ready to help. Overall an excellent stay in nature.

Had an excellent and peaceful stay at walnut tree. Staff is so polite, they always have smile on their faces. Maintenance is good and view from balcony is beautiful. Only drawback is hotel is far from main market, so better to carry basic medicines to avoid any kind of emergency. Balcony curtains need be upgraded, curtains are not blocking the cold. Should be replaced with double layered curtains to keep the room warm

The stay was good. Staff is really courteous and always available for any kind of help or service required. We had a good experience with food as well, however, i felt that the menu was limited. They could expand a few more items. The location of this resort is perfect, however, amenities are limited. However, with the price range per room, this could be the cheap and best stay.

The hotel is good. staff are cooperative and kind. The location is near the river bed and has a bunch of hotels nearby. The view is lovely. All the room equipments were operational which I really liked. The floor area of the rooms could have been a little larger.

Awesome stay.. very helpful staffs.. view is quite fantastic.. easy to locate .. foods are awesome too.. definitely recommended

The hotel stay some how terrible as we did not got the hot water for bath One day we left as such with out bath and second day we have to leave early morning and gesear MCB was stwichoff by hotel staff so no water in morning

They are very cooperative and service level is excellent. Location is awesome

I did not visit due to medical issue, I did email to them, requested for refund via mmt, they did not help neither the hotelier was good. I requested for changing dates but it was not accepted, they asked for more money. NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL

Stay was priety good and scenic from 201 room balcony. Very helpfull and good service they have provided during our stay, e.g food, room service, hot water, mineral water, etc.

Walnut tree is a nice property on the bank of Lidder river. Rooms are clean, few are with great view of mountains. Moreover the kitchen is great! We had good food for breakfast and dinner. It was our daughter’s birthday when we visited the property; they made beautiful arrangements. All personnel were so welcoming since beginning.
