Located in a remote village, 13 km away from Pahalgam, connected by an ill maintained narrow road. Surrounded by scenic beauty on the bank of Liddar river. Since we visited in February, there was no flowing water in the river and topography was looking like a deserted and rocky terrain. But after April, the area surrounding the property will be quite picturesque with flowing water in the river, as we were told. Looking to the location, the property is overpriced as compared to the similar or far better hotels in Srinagar. If you do not have a vehicle under own possession throughout your stay, you will face a lot of hardships to move around, especially in the evening. But once you reach there, it is a well maintained property, although a small one. Rooms are spic and span. We were given a reasonably spacious room on our request. Can not comment on the size of the other rooms since the hotel has differently sized rooms. Staff is quite professional, courteous and welcoming. Has a very good restaurant with good quality food. Spread of food (both breakfast and lunch/dinner) is quite limited, but fully meets your requirement. Overall a good stay except a bad location and seemingly, a bit overpriced property.
