Beautiful property beside the serene Lidar with hoard of exotic birds. Rooms are cozy and well furnished. Stuffs are polite and cordial...a special mention for Abid.

our family of 4 people stayed at this fantastic place on 1 st april 2025 ...the location was so beautiful..we could see the lidder river flow past from our room window....they have a well maintained beutiful garden where we spent lots of time enjoying the beauty of the place.... outside the hotel we could take a walk by the river side...the place is more beautiful than many points in pehalgam.. will recommend this place

It was wonderful! Each one of the staff, from the reception, to the kitchen staff, to ones helping with the luggage, was incredibly gracious and looked after our every need. We had the best rooms with stunning views! Would highly recommend Fresh Water Resort!

It’s very old property. Don’t have proper heating system. Never think of staying in this property during winter. Bathroom , switch boards are all very old and need full renovation. Most importantly don’t book this property through Makemytrip, I have booked standard room for 11k thro mmt,that too before 1 month with multiple offers . . but many came directly and paid only 8.5 k. . Then what is the purpose of booking through mmt with offer ? Mmt and hotel are partnering in cheating the customers.

1. No proper heater facility for room 2. No proper facility for providing hot water in bathroom 3. Food quality is average 4. Room is not as shown in the images-below average 5. Frequent power cut, which is not managed by backup due to all these problems we were forced to cut short our stay in the hotel- thanks for understanding our situation and providing us refund

The view is amazing. The food was average and does have issues with the heater but the staff is very helpful and polite. The view of the river beside your room makes it very refreshing

I stayed at fresh water resort in pahalgam for 2 nights, and it was a delightful experience. The resort’s location is incredible, situated right on the river, offering stunning views and a serene ambiance. The staff was professional and ensured everything was well taken care of. The food was delicious, served hot, and maintained high standards of hygiene, which i truly appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with heaters, making the stay cozy even during chilly nights. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and i highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting pahalgam!

Fresh water resort was a cozy stay. I wallowed in luxury. Food was really good. The staff was very helpful. If you go during the rafting season, this is the best place to stay. However, the only issue for me was, it was far away from the taxi stand.

The manager was so rude and charge unnecessary not even a single regard as a tourist and the exhaust fans and ac was not even working

This was my second visit to fresh water resort. The stay was excellent. Hospitality served made us feel like home. The location is breath taking and so is the property. Food is delicious.

I visited the property with my wife and in-laws. We simply loved the property. It not only offers an amazing view but also excellent services. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Food is also decent and the only thing is the property is ~10km away from actual pahalgam city centre so only advisable if you have booked a cab that's gonna stay with you.

the stay was lovely in the resort. i celebrated my wife's birthday and it went very well. the staff was very nice and the food was also delicious. will visit again with my family.😊

Hotel is resided at beautiful location, with river side view. Staff services and behaviour are good as well.

Positives : 1. Scenic location, next to the river 2. Courteous staff negatives 1. Rooms are not as described. Dingy, old and smelly. 2. Unsafe for kids and family, loose and broken electrical points. Sockets are hanging with live wires visible. Hazard for kids. 3. Smelling blankets and moldy upholstery. 4. In room items such as electric kettle were of poor quality, revealing wires that were joined with tape. 5. Tried to re-purpose the booking to better rooms. claimed they are third party and owner decides. Just a circus that wasted time and yielded nothing. Owner is interested to sell rooms 6. For per room it’s grossly over priced. Claiming this is a 3/4 star is a sham, it’s a 1/2 star and should not be priced more than 4 k a night.

The deluxe rooms are terrible to stay in, especially at the price point they are charged (rs. 13000 for 2 nights. Also on the second day of my stay the water in the washroom was not at all clean. And was muddy. I reported it to the manager, but there was no solution to the same for 2 hrs.
