Spacious and convenient accommodation with hall and bedroom provided in suite with air condition in both rooms and geyser and tv. Vast car parking available and driver accommodation too

The room rate is acceptable, but the accommodation quality is poor. The rooms appear to be older with substandard, improper renovations. We encountered a serious bed bug infestation and had issues with non-functional AC and fans. While we were eventually moved to another room, these serious maintenance failures caused a significant disruption. Furthermore, the restaurant staff requires training on appropriate guest treatment and service etiquette.

Property is at prime location. Food and facilities are good and neatly maintained. Everything is okay. One can may prefer to stay there.

Every thing was good. food quality was also good. Only timing of opening and closing was issue. we missed our complementary breakfast . it was closed at 9.30a.m but we reached little late by 9.55 a.m.

Windows not provided with mosquito nets so that we can open for fresh air. If we open lot of small insects get into the room. Other facilities are OK.

The stay was comfortable with spacious & clean room, hot water availability, good car parking space and accommodation for car-driver. Felt should have offered tea/coffee as complimentary. Had to buy separately. Anyway, enjoyed the stay.

Yatri Nivas is an excellent accommodation facility in the heart of Kanchipuram. It is located very near to the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple and Sri Ekambranathar Thirukovil. One can take a simple walk to have Darshan at these places or hire an auto or taxi as per ones convenience. All autos and taxis are available nearby itself. The room at Yatri Nivas is very hygienic with great mattress, clean blankets and towels. They also provide toiletries like brush, toothpaste and soap. The room i stayed has a balcony from where one can see the beautiful Kanchipuram and als dry their clothes/towel if they want. Ample cupboard spaces with keys are available inside the room so one can safely keep their belongings. Attached bathroom has geyser facility-large one, so even a family of 4 can easily take quick showers one after the other. AC is also working well. There is a restaurant in the ground floor which serves good food at nominal prices. The front desk is also very friendly and nice. Overall an excellent facility. Thank you. When visiting Kanchipuram again, i will book this place again. Nice stay.

Being Government managed hotel, all the amenities like lift, cleanliness of rooms, toiletries, buffet breakfast everything is 5 out of 5 ratings. Very good hotel budget friendly.

Worst experience very poor facilities front office waste.Restarent useless

Location is far to the temples and town. need to spend lot of money for Auto rickshaws. Rooms are big but quality of built is poor. Bathrooms are not improper checkout time of 10 AM. Food taste is not good. No authentic Kanchipuram style. I can see north Food pattern here

The room is spacious and clean. They offer complimentary free breakfast which was really good with a lot of variety. The area is very big and you can go for a run/walk outside the hotel. There's a huge space for Parking as well. The only downside is the dust in the room. Some of the rooms don't have house keeping and as a result, rooms haven't been used much so there's too much dirt on screen curtains and the floor. They should take care of that.

A basic hotel (can be called as a Lodge) with ample parking space, away from main bus stand and city market. Main temples are within 2-3 kms but will not be able to walk on the road due to lack of space, traffic and the hot weather!!!

I had booked a deluxe family room with 7-bed for 5 of us. The deluxe room was spacious, and had 2 separate bath & washrooms. However, we had a bad experience during the check-in with the staff at the reception making us wait for more than 30-45 minutes while he went for having his own lunch. The bath & washrooms were splashed with water and the area leading to them wasn't even completely mopped. They did NOT have the mirror in the room, but had to go back in the wash area and use the one near the sink which was NOT good. There were no wardrobes or any chairs even. If there were 7 people which this room should normally accommodate, it'd have been a disaster

location proximity from city center is not much but if your travelling depending on the autos then it's a costly affair. food is average, amenities & Services average.

The stay was pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Ample parking space and availability of restaurants at the premises was a plus.

Decent Place neither luxurious nor poor; environment around the place is good. Food is normal but free breakfast is very poor and does not have any value? No free coffee or Tea with breakfast. Otherwise it was a reasonable place for Middle and upper middle income group's Very decent location as well as good surroundings. Ideal for Middle and upper middle income groups. People from neighbouring states like Telengana, AP, Karnataka are found to be used in large numbers Breakfast given was not good and no Coffee or Tea was not provided

big rooms but the toilet commode was shaking.. difficult to use ... overall good atmosphere
