I recently stayed at Hotel Jaipur House in Mount Abu, and it was an absolute nightmare. Let me break down the horrendous experience: Dirty Mattress and Missing Baby Cot Upon checking into our room, we were greeted by a mattress that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. To make matters worse, despite requesting a baby cot in advance, there was none available. Imagine trying to put your little one to sleep on a filthy bed! Stained Bath Towels The bath towels provided were not only threadbare but also had mysterious stains. It’s appalling that a supposedly reputable hotel would offer such subpar amenities. Stinky Bathrooms The bathrooms were a disaster zone. The stench was overpowering, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. It felt like we were stepping into a neglected public restroom. Electric Shock from the Kettle The pinnacle of our misery came when I attempted to make tea using the electric kettle. Instead of a warm cuppa, I received an electric shock! The wiring was clearly unsafe, and it’s a miracle I wasn’t seriously injured. Denial and Inaction When we complained about these issues, the staff initially denied any problems. It was only after persistent complaints that they reluctantly acknowledged the issues. But their response was lackluster, to say the least. Room Change? Forget It! Despite our repeated requests, they refused to change our room. It’s mind-boggling how they could be so indifferent to our discomfort. Food Poisoning To top it all off, the breakfast served at the hotel left me with a severe case of food poisoning. I spent the next day hugging the toilet bowl instead of enjoying the beautiful surroundings. In summary, Hotel Jaipur House is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. Avoid it at all costs unless you enjoy dirty rooms, unsafe appliances, and a complete lack of customer service. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy.
