A Dreamy Stay at Taj Darjeeling – Perfect in Every Way! Our recent stay at Taj Darjeeling was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with exceptional hospitality that made us feel at home instantly. The location is simply breathtaking – nestled in the heart of Darjeeling, with stunning views of the mountains and easy access to local attractions. The property itself is exquisite – elegant, charming, and immaculately maintained. It truly feels like a peaceful retreat amidst nature. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade, which made our experience even more special. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered spectacular views. Every detail was thoughtfully curated for comfort and luxury. The food was a highlight of our stay. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a culinary delight. The variety, taste, and quality were outstanding, and the staff were incredibly attentive to dietary needs and preferences. What touched us most was how welcoming the staff were toward our infant. They went out of their way to ensure our little one was comfortable and happy – from providing baby-friendly food to always checking in with a smile. It made the experience feel even more personal and caring. Overall, Taj Darjeeling is a dreamy, world-class property that combines natural beauty with unmatched service and warmth. We left with our hearts full and memories to cherish. We can’t wait to return!

The location of the property is excellent. It is only 1.5 hour away from the airport but at the same time the views of the valley is excellent from the property The food is delicious and safe for kids. The staff takes extra care to ensure that any food allergies are taken into account. The breakfast buffet is elaborate and they ensure to add some local dishes as well The staff takes extra care to meet all the needs. The in-room guest services are deligent and swift. They took care to give baby products for my young baby upon request They have many recreation facilities at the hotel for kids and adults like trekking, tea trail, tea factory visits etc. Must visit property for a relaxing family getaway

I recently stayed at the Taj and, while the overall ambiance was pleasant, I found the food and service to be quite average. The dining options lacked the finesse I expected, and the service, though courteous, didn’t reflect the high standards typically associated with the Taj experience. It was a decent stay, but not particularly memorable in terms of hospitality.

It was an awesome experience staying here. All the amenities are available, and all staffs Including Jeshika Sister are very cooperative. The food is delicious, and the breakfast buffet offers everything you need for a satisfying meal. The property is excellent, and the views from the room are amazing.

We were very well looked after at the Chia Kutir. The rooms and housekeeping was exceptional. We however were unlucky with the view as the entire place had a mist cover through the day and hence did not explore the property. In the restaurant the 1st night’s dinner did not meet Taj standards . There was a delay in the service and some orders came way after a few other dishes. The fried rice was particularly salty. We registered a complaint and after that they really got their act together and went out of their way to try and make sure that we had absolutely nothing to complain about

fabulous location, nice decor, good food, very hospitable service ……. only that some interiors need repair….. badly squeaking wooden floors, falling bed side lamps, some non-functional power points…… barring these it was a pleasant stay overall.

Very good stay. Staff were cooperative. Room service was excellent. Swimming pool had good temp control. Swimming pool staff was cooperative. Highly recommended for family stay. Tea factory tour was beyond imagination

Taj is an extremely beautiful property, their hospitality was super awesome. Few things which we really liked that they did charge for any food and milk that i ordered for my toddler from the restaurant menu, they said they don’t charge anything for kids. Secondly as it was raining on our stay day they had arrangements everywhere for cab and umbrellas so that there guests can move around easily

It was a wonderful stay at taj chi a kutir. Valley view rooms are the best ones. Local food is a must try here. Multiple decks at the property give amazing views of the mountains. Walk to makaibari tea gardens was refreshing. Will visit soon again
