i have several grievances:
1. there was nobody at the reception when we arrived for check in. i called the numbers provided, but nobody answered. after waiting for 20 mins in uncertainty, two men arrived, nonchalantly . one of them came to the reception, unapologetically. the manager went to his quarters/room. 2. we wished to upgrade from standard room to ac room, since that was available. initially, there was a lot of back n forth in communication. the man at the reception called the manager for everything, but the manager refused to come to the reception for a discussion with us. this wasted time. 3. he first said we can upgrade to ac room with additional rs.1000 payment to them, but in 5 mins they rejected this offer and asked us to cancel our booking and make an alternative booking, despite the fact that there was no option or button appearing to upgrade/modify/cancel booking. this was resolved with the initial idea after we called, but we lost a good 30 mins in their confusion.
4. nobody was at the reception even later in the evening. i had to open and shut the main gate to take my car out, despite being a customer. terrible service continued.
5. during check out, a senior person who possibly owned the property was available to help take the luggage downstairs, but he refused to load it in our car. the receptionist and the manager were nowhere to be seen during our entire stay. 6. the restaurant was shut during our visit, despite all posters promoting meals, which is utterly misleading. we had to travel 10 km to grab dinner in the dark. if we did not have our vehicle, we would have slept hungry because they refused to arrange any meal for us. overall, horrible service. the room was alright and clean, but they need to improve service and must be more customer- friendly👍🏻
