Excellent Stay
It was a comfortable stay. The property is located near kosi river. Management and staff was courteous and helpful. Food was great. Hygiene and cleanliness was maintained. Overall great stay.

Nice stay
Beautiful stay with a river view from balcony. Rooms are clean, staff is descent and very cooperative. Food service is quick and delicious.

Good Stay
familyIt was based om mm t reviews, location is excellent, next to kosi river, food is tasty and priced reasonably. Amenties are ok, they provide what is required. Bathroom was clean and so were the towels.

Poor service. Bad hospitality
Room was fine. Hospitality and service was zero. I was entitled for discounts on food and beverages but they refused to give the discounts and behaved a little rude. Food was overpriced for the quality. 160 rupees for 4 small and thin puri bhaji.

Good Stay
We arrived late around 11 pm. So we slept as there was no food arrangement late at night. Rooms were clean and the overall experience was good for the family as it was a family suit.

Pleasant stay with peace of mind
familyIf you are looking for a comfortable stay away from the noise and having delicious food then you’ll have it all here. The hotel is surrounded with scenic beauty with kosi river right behind the hotel with easy access to it. Quality of food and super fast service compliments well with each other. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone. Hotel staff is polite and welcoming.

Stay at shivalik river retreat
Location was really bad, we were told that it's a valley view room but actually room was facing main road, on request of changing the room, we were told bluntly that rooms are not available so can't change the room. Very uncomfortable stay, and a horrible experience. Please think twice before visiting this hotel. I booked the place for 2 nights but checked out after one pathetic night experience. My request of refund was out-rightly rejected. A total waste of money and time. Mmt should take some action for such properties. And see if you can get me refund for 1 night. Also, please don't go by the reviews on mmt, pols do your research thoroughly before booking. Sheer wastage of time and money( i had to book another hotel in almora for one night)

Hotel close to river. Food, hygiene and safety are good

Great and affordable stay
Rooms are quite good and the complete hotel area are very clean. The site of kashi river from the rooms are quite pleasing. Food is of very good quality. Staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

Location and food
I enjoyed staying at the shivalik river retreat hotel as it's very close to river. Location is value for money, only i didn't like the food rate for some non veg dishes. Rest all good
