I had booked this hotel through make my trip for 23rd night stay, but due to hold up in Kausoni we were not able to make it. We requested the reception manager to change the dates to 24th and it was agreed within a second. This was highly professional. The food which we ordered was also very good. Only thing they could improve is the cleanliness of the bathroom.

I am frequent traveller and found that location is awesome, property is good and services can be professional to get real value of money. It is only 3 km away from Jageshwar and 9 Km away from Vradh Jageshwar. Management should inspect blower, intercom services before letting it to customer. If guests are staying with family they need someone to be available at reception or room service 24 hours. We found that no-one was available on the phone after 8:00 or 8:30 to morning 7:30. We had only couple of tea bags inside the room and needed milk for kids in the morning for which we had to wait so long. Additionally there should be wiper given in the bathroom specially because toilet is attached without any partition to Bath area so that water can be wiped out. Overall people are nice it is probably newly built hence management is also learning as they are moving along.

We wanted to escape the scorching heat of Delhi in May and travel to an exclusive retreat in the hills to unwind and relax. Kumaon" was just what we were looking for . . It is a hidden gem with stunning views of the Nanda Devi Range and it is crafted with so much finesse and warmth that you can't help but fall in love with it. Travel - Travelling from Delhi difficult . We took the Shatabdi from New Delhi station till Kathgodam (approx. 5. 5, followed by a 3 hr car journey and a walk of 300 meters to reach the retreat . Pushkar, the manager made sure we have a seamless and comfortable journey by arranging a pick-up from the station accommodation - The architecture of the place is chic and every room is designed with perfection. All rooms are spacious and have stunning views of the Nanda Devi range. We stayed on the Upper Chalet and had a balcony to enjoy our morning and evening drinks One could lay in bed the whole day looking at the breathtaking views and experiencing the energy this place has to offer Dining - The dining hall has glass frames that make you feel immersed in Nature while dining. Delectable local Kumaoni food was served and special food requests were entertained with pleasure. Service - Our stay was made special by the warmth of people around us. Pushkar (the Manager, Isha and the team ensured we have a pleasant stay. They took every possible step to meet our needs and expectations in terms of stay, food, service and other requests . I would like to thank them for their delightful service I would definitely recommend spending a few days at The Kumaon.

Only city and Himalaya view from window is good, except that hotel location and service is pathetic. Even towels and bedding are so dirty. Thanks god I was travelling with my own towels . My last trip with family was very pleasant with MMT hotels but this time I am very disappointed by MMT, how they are listed, rated and suggested such type of hotels.

The place is situated close to Jageshwar temples which are one of 12 jyotirlingas and first on way to Kailash Parbat. The property is a wonderful homely place to spend time in Himalayas. Our four days stay was excellent. The owner Mr. Nitin was personally overseeing all the arrangements, He is a fountain of knowledge on the Kamoun history of mythology. The staff is very cordial and takes extra care of your needs. Thyson, the Australian labre takes you for a walk in the mountains and is a pet. Our stay was excellent and best wishes to Nitin for his efforts.

Cottage is far from main road. Distance from car parking to cottage is too much . Place is good with a beautiful view of the forest . From outside cottage is exactly as shown in the picture but from inside rooms are too basic. Bed in the room was not at all good (I didn't liked it at all). There is no TV in the rooms . A good cozy library is there . Owner is good and dedicated . He tries to do his best . Food is also good . Make My Trip charged way too high for the cottage . Disappointed with MMT.

I was looking for a getaway to a location that was at an arm's distance from hyper crowded hill stations. I hit a gold mine with this hotel. It is nestled in a quiet section of the road connecting Almora and Binsar. The rooms are quite Spartan. Minimum am
