This resort was amazing,I am lost for words at the overall experience.This is a must try for people who enjoy lush nature and fresh,tasty food.Even the staff was good-they were helpful and kind.

Stay was not good too old hotel n staff is not good very very bad staff Exspecialy that front office guy Krishnan is not give respect for guest he the way of talking is very terrible rash n for everything he wil angry totally I don’t like the way is talking

Lovely quiet property on lakefront. Had an excellent dinner there too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great to sit on the balcony and watch the ever changing lake!

This property cannot be called a resort. It is more of a guest house. We had booked the heritage villa which was charged at 10k per night. This property does not have any amenities like pool or any indoor or outdoor activities. They serve only breakfast and if we need lunch or dinner we need to pre order it before 10am. In the heritage villa, the dish tv was not charged and we were not getting any channels. After raising thosnto the staff it was resolved next day. The villa we stayed was close to thrle entrance road and at night there were few street dogs outside the entrance, and they were barking througout the night which caused disturbance to our sleep. On the day of checkout there were 2 wedding photoshoots happening in tjrhe property and it was crowded with photographers. They were shooting pics infront of our villa blocking our entry to the villa. We couldnt evem leave the door open as the photographers asked us to close it as they were shooting infromt of our villa door. This caused a lot of inconvenience. Overall an overrated property with average service and forgettable experience.

Samieira is a beautiful little property right on the banks of the lake. They've about 10 rooms, quite well maintained. Perfect place to sit and unwind enjoying the wind and the lake. Staff were very hospitable. Though the food ordered n served were quite good, they have a limited menu and you've to order well in advance to get the food. The menu spread could be better. But otherwise, it's a great place to try out!

It is a pleasant and peaceful place on the banks of ashtamudi. The cottages are comfortable. The staff is friendly. Food was delicious.

We recently stayed overnight at samieira on ashtamudi lake, and it was a memorable experience for us. We booked the resort via make my trip during the vishu holidays, so the room rate was slightly higher. We arrived at the resort around 12:30 pm, and the check-in and other formalities were smoothly completed. The staff was very helpful, and we have no complaints about our stay. Samiira resort is a beautiful lakefront property with traditional kerala architecture. They offer lakefront varantha rooms and independent garden view cottages. The property boasts lush greenery with an abundance of trees and plants. We selected varantha lakefront rooms for two adults and two children. The room was spacious enough for a small family and came equipped with an air conditioner, electric kettle, attached bathroom, an extra coat for the kid, tea bags, and all the necessary amenities. The food menu at the restaurant was a bit expensive, and we had to place our food orders at least four hours in advance. This disappointed us a little, but we managed to pre-order our meals, which turned out to be very tasty. However, we were disappointed to find out that popular dishes like kerala meals and biriyani were not available on the menu. Breakfast was complimentary, and they served dosa, chutney, sambar, and omelet. Please note that the resort has limited space available, which may become crowded during peak season or if multiple families are staying together. Additionally, it's recommended to pre-order food as getting meals from the restaurant can be difficult otherwise. Please be aware that there are no shops or restaurants within a 2-3 kilometer radius of the property.

The resort looks good but no place to walk around at all…The service is not good.Rooms are not sound proof..couldnt sleep due to other noisy rooms..Food was horrible with beetles in it..No choice of food in breakfast..waste of money

One word. Excellent. Keep it up. Car parking enclosure required for driver to take rest in their car. It should be neat and clean and free from jungle. Safety also to be ensured.

Quaint little resort tucked away from the city madness. Rooms are very cosy, has Kerala architecture and were super clean. Food was really good, made fresh and came with decent quantity. Staff service, be it in restaurant, outdoors or rooms, is exceptional. Boating or cruise is on the agenda and will make this place a much sought after one once added. Being on the banks of Ashtamudi lake, this place offers a constant breeze whenever you are outdoor and the trees ensure sufficient cover from the sun. Carry cream / spray to protect from 🦟

If you are looking for a place to relax, samiira would be the best option, though i haven't explored other resorts, what i feel is, samiira is the top most option.
