The caretaker seeing us as a couple gave us a separate room for privacy, he was very understanding and helpful for all our needs. He was fast in his service. He even helped us in getting a boat ride and even a taxi for our other location.

I am sharing my experience not get the discount but for future help of other people: 1. The location is very interior. 2. Mosquito problem is there. 3. Except boating nothing is there. 4. But the caretaker is very much friendly. 5. He served the good food as our wish and it was delicious. 6. Overall we are satisfied in this stay.

The host is very welcoming and a very genuine person. U can go for a country boat ride managed by the host himself. Comfortable stay with typical kerala cuisine and clean bedrooms

The property is very well maintained. The solo man caretaker seth does a fantastic job. He helps all around, suggests what is best for the types one needs. The tea is worth a mention. The rooms and facilities are perfect. He also takes on a boat ride which is *the* attraction. The backwater beauty is worth capturing. Over all a very very happy holiday though monroe islands is best to rest. Most of the happening places are quite far from here. Even food options are limited. One should come with own transport. We took rickshaw the drivers were helpful too, we went to varkala and kollam for super food thatakada and massages

It's a homestay with all basic amenities which will help you for serving all your basic needs. Host mt. Shetu is a very polite person and he will support during your stay. Home made local food is served by host at a very nominal cost. Host also has his own boat for early morning ashtamudi lake boating. Property is just 100 mrs away from backwaters. Don't miss early morning backwaters boat ride.
