Review Of Rufina Lachung Kunga

One of the decent hotels in Lachung... rooms are small comparatively, restaurant is veg and has limited options, water provided is not upto mark, and rooms were not the best... but maybe it’s because of the location in such a remote area! Manageable but many things could be improved

Location is good and room was fine. But food, amenities and services were pathetic. When we reached the place, no one was to be found. Got number from net & gave a call. Finally a person showed up. Asked about no one had any clue whatsoever. Food was bad and had to rely on a cafeteria approx 50 mtrs away from the property. Amenities again bad no hand wash. Electric kettle not working. Overall it was bad

they don't know basic etiquettes of serving a customer. staff runs a business where they charge 500 extra for room heater ( same heater you can buy on Amazon for 800) buffet has only kanda poha and paratha with only maida. no eggs no bread butter. if you ask for bread. staff replies "gangtok se leke ana padega". no toiletries shampoo and soap. the water heart work only for one person. rest have to wait for atleast 1.5 hrs. please smell all kettles and cups inside you room and also in kitchen dining room. I found fish gravy unwashed cup at tea section in tea cup. although the staff is naive but is expected to know basic working of hotels. no towels were provided for 2 days of stay even after requesting multiple times. also if you book online. they will charge you for front facing view but when you check in they will have a excuse and will provide you back room with no view. only gutter

Rufina kunga at lachung is a nice, cozy place for a comfortable stay. Food is good and staff friendly and very cooperative. Had a comfortable one night stay, though it was freezing cold.

It's good place, conviently located, has decent parking space, start is very courteous and helpfull.

Rooms are very spacious and only problem is little look into hot water since we were couple and kid need to wait for water to heat other than that all the other things like food very yummy and non veg need to inform had a grit time. Enjoy all

Overall, while the stay had its highlights with great rooms and a wonderful location, there are areas, such as bedsheet hygiene, food options, and staffing, where rufina lachung kunga could enhance the guest experience.

The property is in good location, rooms are clean, the premier view rooms are very nice. The wash rooms are very neat. The four star are for food choices and quality.

The good: location, polite staff, spacious room, vegetarian dishes. The bad: non veg food is worst i ever had, generator not turned on even when it is dark. No one present at reception most of the time. Beds are old and uncomfortable

Loved staying at the hotel during my visit to lachung. The staff are very helpful. Food was great and the view of the mountains was the best in the morning.

Service was slow probably because of under-staffing. It is well understood given the location and accessibility of the hotel. Balcony view is bad, so you can skip those rooms.

Had issues with power and food. No options were present to order food. Whatever they had on breakfast wasn’t good either

Good hotel with well spoken management. Taste of food was average. Overall ambience and feel in and around the hotel is good. This hotel also offers a good view.

A wonderful place to stay in the mountains in Lachung .. good service .. had all the basics right … clean room with a good view.. has geyser and room heater facility .. this has an attached kitchen with decent food .. the team is very responsive for your requests .. even though there is no power they run Generator till late in the night

Good location, amazing view along with Staff behavior and service. Specially the blanket they provided kept us warm in that -1 ... -2°C.

Stay is excellent because room are ready with fully wooden interior for make room temperature balanced at 0' degree.
