Review Of Riverdale Homestay, Diamond Harbour (WB Govt Reg Gold Category)

The 8th floor bar was nice , the food and behaviour of the staffs is appreciated but rest all from check in to check out is very poor experience, the front office staffs are not professional, they are not polite, talking style is rude and unprofessional specially the senior person in the front desk, I feel like I was ignored by him, I lost my room key and they changed me , on the top that I was waited for more than 40 minutes to prepare a new key, they not even assist me properly to connect the wifi, room is dirty, bed sheet and blanket cover was damaged and dirty, in wash room body wash bottle was empty, I feel like if someone is complaining about something maybe they don’t care, I will never visit this property again….!

The location of the homestay is good. The staff are proactive, cooperative and caring. The room that we had booked was spacious, neat and clean. The beds along with the bed covers, pillows and the blankets were fresh and dry. The wash room was in good condition, the wash basin was smaller in size. The restaurant which was one storey downstairs was quite spacious and well organised with ac and non ac sections. we ordered chinese and two pomfret tandoori at dinner. The quantity of the items were very much satisfying and it overexcited our taste buds as well. over all it was asafe and excellent stay for us and I would like to recommend this homestay for other guests specially the families.

The room was clean and tidy, the washroom had modern amenities. Food was delicious and was served in very less time. But we didn't get the river facing room as shown in the picture.

Riverdale stayed in super premium river view room, room was spacious, view is nice, day time ac cooling insufficient, balcony not available with this room. parking place is not within the property it is little odd, no garden or space for walk which is discomfort, food is ok type.

location wise excellent indeed,food quality needs to be improved . specially more shelves and hanging rods should be provided in the bathroom.Staff behaviour was excellent rooms were clean and well furnished but as it is located in between d market so d river view was hampered by d surrounding from our room. I had booked a premium river view room so had expected more . Over all a pleasant stay if u r planning to visit for a day or two.Try their Bashonti pulao and Mutton Dopayaza and u r going to fall in love with it instantly.

Really a home stay. The room was neat and clean well ventilated and a new one. Restuarant is also good. Staff ere well behaved and polite. Vikram, manager lady care taker is very helpful and supportive.
