Bidyut Bhaban

please please don't go to this place. Building is old and not in good condition. All the locks are defective and once you close the door from outside, no way you can open it without keys, and most surprisingly most of the keys are broken. Terrace lock was jammed and despite of serious attempt it couldn't be opened. No restaurent inside the campus or outside. So you are bound to take service of the caretaker who charge excessively high. For instance, we were three members and they charged me Rs. 600 per day for one cook, incidentally the cooke is wife Mr. Palan, the caretaker. For three persons they charged Rs. 600 for gas ( two days). We have only cooked chicken ( one time) , rice and roti and dal. How much gas gas been used one can understand from that. You have to get entire ration from your house, there is nothing outside in market. No vegetables, no chicken. only some fish can be seen. Nothing is explorable at that place except Riverside. Think ten times before you decide to go there. Most boring, though the campus is very calm.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at bidyut bhaban, raychak. The villa is inside a gated society and the surroundings inside the society is very pristine and serene. The raychak river bank and jetty is just 20 m away from the society. If asked the manager of the villa will also arrange for delicious home cooked food at a very affordable package. I will definitely enjoy staying here again with a group of friends or family.
