Review Of Namtso Wooden Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay

The wooden cottage was unable to resist cold weather at night.

pangong lake view room available, easily located, hot water supply is not good as they used tanker water which is limited supply. As people used to bath in the evening after reaching there, so we had face water shortage at early morning for brush and washroom. Other things was good.

It was nice experience. Location is good and care taker is experienced.

Room was very small with no furniture, with no attendant, no wifi, very basic room with bed, electricity for 4 hours, 6 pm to 10 pm only. We were facing altitude sickness, went to see seek help at 10. 30 pm. They did not open the reception room. We left the cottage at 5 am as soon sun light came. Without having breakfast. They over charged us. 4000 with breakfast and without dinner. Same type of cottage was available at 2500 with dinner and breakfast.

Location was difficult to find even on google map, this placevis not coming. Also, the exact place is in lukung whereas they have mentioned pangong which is very misleading especially in area like that where there is no cellular service. The biggest drawback is the contact number which is not working. Pl update that as many visitors like me would have been harrased by not getting correct contact number of this property. Sunrise

Location of property is just in front of Pangong lake which is amazing, Tasty food, nice amenities & amazing services. in Pangong everyone should visit Namtso wooden cotage.

I booked this cottage in very short span of time & really scared about the facility & location, but when i reached there i really surprised to see the mesmerizing view of lake from cottage, amazing welcome & services. I felt really happy. Whenever i come here i prefer namtso wooden cottage to stay, its strongly recommended to stay from my side

Namtso wooden cottage location is quite good (just in front of pangong lake) but needs to maintain better cleanliness.

Had an average stay in the room since the bathroom was leaking, hotel was completely closed when we arrived, had to wait for hours till the staff comes, behavior was moderately rude when asked about light off timings.

I, along with my family, stayed in this property for a night. The stay was quite comfortable and service was good. The attendants, arjun and his deputy, were very anxious to make us feel at home. Food served was just okay. The negative about this cottage is that it is at lukung, which is not so good a location. We would have preferred to stay in spangmik, man or merak, which offer a much better view of the lake.

There are restrictions for electricity andy hot water. If you are reaching in eveg no hot water only in morg at 6. 30 you will get

The property is just in front of pangkong lake, has required amenities and offers an affordable meal. The caretakers of this property are well behaved and they also offer you campfire at night, so you can sit and relax while watching the stars and moon in a clear sky of ladakh. They will provide you with hot water for drinking and the tea is too good. Do check out this property when you visit next.

Hot water as mentioned was not given. No electricity post 9pm. Window in washroom is see thru glass! better blankets can be given as the temperature dips a lot and it's freezing

This is a nice cosy cottage room in pangong. The operator mr ganesh is very helpful and takes care of the guests well. The view from the cottage is awesome and it is also located close to the lake. Would recommend this place to all.

Hotel was over booked, i have not got the room in the property which i booked. I have been offered room in other property which is not the worth for which i made payment. This is fault not only on property owner but actually on facilitator i. E. Make my trip who have taken money without considering whether property have enough accomodation or not. That way i am totally dissatisfied with mm t who cheated us in my trip. I will make sure to apprise to all known person about the incident and to tell them think twice before going for any booking through make my trip

Amazing location we can clearly saw the mesmerizing lake view from namtso wooden cottage. It was a great experience, host is very polite &received a warm welcome, served hot & tasty food with proper cleaningness, room was also very clean. In the safety point of view also the cottage is best. I always recommend to stay here.
