The Kaal is located conveniently between the Airport and the Market, though it is closer to the Airport (which is super convenient). Its a 2k walk to the market which I could do in 20 mins, though taking a taxi or hiring a bike would be better. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms are very tastefully done. The staff are the highlight of the property. Anukha, Jackson and team created an environment that made Kaal a home away from home. Anukha was very warm and generous, and took special care in helping us understand the Ladakhi culture and people. The food menu is sufficient and is tasty, light and wholesome - and after a wholesome meal, the evening walks in the garden remain one of my favorite moments in The Kaal. Overall, an excellent experience - highly recommended.

Being at call is like being at home, it's another home away from home. It's always a pleasure to come and stay over here. The staff is extremely friendly and the food special Indian food is excellent stands in is a great host and his team along with Anu G made us stay extremely comfortable and they looked after all our needs and they really go above and beyond what is expected of The Kaal staff. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and I look forward to coming back in the summer and spending another week, two weeks over here, while I say it and write my motorcycles, wishing everybody at the call, all the very best and thank you once again.

the property is okay and the rooms are fine. interestingly they have floor heating fitted in the washroom. overall the team is okay but need just experience in the restaurant was not great. under the name of low booking they didn't have buffet for dinner and under the name of a la carte the food was wasted and the breakfast buffet was average with limited choice. overall we booked the property for it being a heritage property. but the staff lacks the warmth and the gesture of softness towards the guest. the service is dry.

We had a wonderful stay at The Kaal Hotel in Leh. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is convenient for exploring Leh, and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend The Kaal Hotel to anyone visiting Leh.

It was a wonderful experience to stay here and the warmth of Anu, Jackson and other staff was really amazing. They accommodated to all the needs to ensure I had a comfortable stay. And wonderful to meet the owners of the property too and knowing their story of where they started from. A good family owned and run property. Would definitely recommend others too.

Hotel, location, food are decent enough and staff are helpful. Rooms are well maintained but room service has to be improved. Updating essentials regularly like towels, refilling the restroom tissues and clearing the used ones will be appreciated. Otherwise, I would definitely suggest this The Kaal for a peaceful stay.
