This was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, the food was outstanding, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Truly the best hotel in Leh Ladakh — highly recommended!

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. It's the best hotel in Leh, so expect as much. They can also complete a permit for you to go to Nubra or Pangong.

Honestly I feel its over hyped, yes the location is good, food is decent. But the main reception staff is super bossy, rude and just here to take all your money, In beginning he seems helpful, understanding, then the actual image beings when we starts being purely money minded, we stayed here for 2 nights, had all food here, still what was we expecting was humblness, and purity. We booked tour from hotel, even after getting a non communicative driver, he gave us no discount, and another day when we wanted to book tour he again charged double than what local were asking. So you come stay , have food don't expect much.

The hotel is really amazing and staff is so welcoming. Food is great as well. If you have a good budget, you should definitely consider staying at this property.

First of all, the food is fantastic. Second, the rooms are comfortable, and the amenities and bathroom are great. Service could be better; we had to make multiple phone calls to remind housekeeping to bring extra water or blankets. Also, for a property with limited outdoor space, there were private functions every night that we were there, which limited our ability to enjoy the space as paying guests. Why I ultimately decided to go with the rating that I did is because the managers essentially enable price gouging. And blame MMT for it. We had originally been booked to stay here for 2 nights as a stopover between Kashmir and Nubra Valley. When the incidents happened in Pehelgam, we had to change our plans at the last minute and fly directly into Leh instead of starting in Srinagar. I reached out to the hotel and asked whether I could make a new reservation for 4 days instead of 2, and get refunded for the original reservation, given the extenuating circumstances. So, stay there from the 26th to the 30th, instead of the 30th to the 2nd. I was more than doubling my spending for a suite with them. They said that they would call me back and never did. On check-in, I continued to follow up with the FDMs, and they said that MMT would have to contact them for any consideration. I requested a cancelation through MMT, and then they pivoted to their off site reservation office needing to receive details from MMT. 12 days after leaving the property - fed up - I still have not even gotten a response from them on any potential adjustments. How greedy do you have to be to gouge for 2 additional days of charges (~70k) in the face of unprecedented and emergent circumstances, when you've already received over 1.5L from me, which you wouldn't have otherwise? This is not remotely customer friendly and is essentially as tone deaf and greedy as is possible.

Great property and superb experience.

As a frequent traveller, inspite of having booked the costliest suite in the hotel, i didn’t get a 5 star hotel feeling. There was an empty fridge in the room, ac was having issues in premium suite which never get resolved. No fruits for luxury suite rooms. I was stopped to sit and have dinner at the table of my choice saying all are reserved. I don’t expect this when i book a premium room in your hotel. There was an emergency at my room as my son was not well, there was complementary hi tea, knowing my son was hospitalised, they charged me 700 rs for a complementary tea. Welcome was very good but they didn’t bother when you leave the hotel. Spend 1000s of rs on tips but didn’t see any premium service and respect for those who book premium rooms. Hotel is good, people are good but they don’t know how to handle premium customers who pay a lot of money for suites.

Great property with scenic views, amazing staff followed by amazing food and superb service. Had an amazing time in this property. Loved everything about it. Much better than the branded properties across India .I would highly recommend it.

Grand Dragon is one of the best hotels in Leh. They will make sure that you are looked after during your stay, people in Leh are generally very nice. They dont serve any alcohol in the hotel. They have an Apricot Spritz drink in their menu, while the season is on, do not miss out on it. While booking, I didnt find any reviews citing their spa, maybe it recently opened up; they have a Loccitaine Spa, which made my stay even more better.

My experience staying in hotel grand ladakh was great specially excellent room and resturant vegetarian buffey and breakfast where waiters attention daily were quite satisfactory. Even when i got breathing problem due to my body oxygen level drastically dropped below minimum level due to high altitude. hotel manager provided oxygen cylinder daily till my 3 days stay till i recovered giving excellent room service. Hotel is well maintained specially room bathroom with latest fittings I give 5 star rating and decided when again i visit leh for vacation i will.stay in this hotel ir respective to high daily accomodation charges

great location, fantastic mountain view rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, housekeeping very efficient and timely. room is lit well and bathrooms well maintained. bedding quality is good but i felt its too soft for my personal liking. rooms are good but one may find it crampy for a couple with teenage child.
