It was a wonderful stay. The staff was very sweet and cooperative and very cautious of our needs. The food was very tasty as well. And the views from the hotel are insanely good!

The cottage is in the starting of the lake while coming from nubra valley side. The stay is clean and had all facilities

Our stay at the golden cottages, lukung, pangong, was made very comfortable by the local host. The cottages are small but very cozy and equipped with all the required amenities. The best part is their location. It's the first hotel at lukung with an unobstructed view of the pangong tso. Hot water is provided immediately on request. The food is good. But as usual, because of the high number of veg eating tourists, non veg is prepared only on pre-orders. Kindly contact the host beforehand if non veg food is required. I will definitely give a 5 on 5 rating for golden cottages.

Excellent location. Super cold winds at this time of the year but super view at the very beginning of the lake. Almost the last tourist for the season. Angmo has been a wonderful host. Amazing warmth, food and night skies while braving the cold. Enjoy the milky way

The cottage is just opposite to pangong lake. Good service. Hot water bag available. Other basic amenities also decent.

Visit when it not toooo cold. Weather is extreme. Water is super cold in the bathrooms. Visit only if you need a place to get through the night.

We were given all the available support for making our stay as convenient in sub zero temperature. Food was good

The cottages are just few mt. Away from pangong lake. View was amazing. Food was great here. And most imp the caretaker ms. Angmo what a person she is always ready to help you. The way she treats the guest was exceptional. We didn't feel that we are staying away from home. One thing to take care in mind is that there is no govt electricity. So generator is used from sunset to 10. 30 pm only. Please carry your powerbanks for mobile charging. Rest things are great here.

Although it was very cold in the 1st week of may but the staff made sure we were comfortable with whatever limited resources available. Electricity is der from 7 to 10 pm which was enough to charge pur phones for next day. Special mention to the dinner buffet and breakfast at this remote location is a treat in cold weather. Appreciate the hot water in morning. The staff is ready to help and guide you especially angmo is such a hard working efficient care taker. The video sent to us before the trip about the location is great as you have no network so this helps. In the end it’s pangong lake in front if you so its good to have a digital detox for a day. Would recommend taking big warm jackets to pangong as it gets chilled at night.

Pangong we were told is harsh but this place is a gem. We arrived late and were happy to see warm tea being served for our cold bodies. Bad weather in april - we were in constant touch with bunny and the confidence helped us a lot. No network however at pangong. These people have solar geyser and the hot water in the morning was a blessing. Excellent experience!

This property is at the start of lake in a peaceful area. Lovely 180 degree view of the lake. It had snowed at changi la pass while coming and we were feeling very cold. The restaurant was cosy, warm and we loved the hot soup. The room was nice and the warm water bottle for the feet was a saviour. In all, this is a good place for views and hospitality. Bunny sent us a video on how to reach the property - very useful as there is no network

It is just in front of pangong lake. Nice property in remote location. Excellent location. Recommend.

Awsm services in that harsh climate

It was a great time in golden cottage. I stayed for one night on 27 sep. 22. Food was delicious. Staff was very helpful and polite. They provided us hot water for drinking and for bathroom. Location of the cottage is just in front of pangong lake. Overall experience was awesome.
