Food is bad, namesake amenities, poor services. Its not a 4 star hotel, make my trip must explain why the hotel is categorised as 4 star, I booked due to my trust in MMT, will be very careful from here on. the hotel is beat described as a "building" with hardly any amenities. not sure why i have paid such high rates per night. When i checked out in the morning there is hardly anyone at reception, reception lights are off, no security, anyone can come to your room at night, no one attended even for checkout, had to pull out my own bags and even unsure of what to do with the keys, i left the key inside the room. No one attends calls to provide basic amenities like water in the morning.
Overall the hotel itself is only a building with a riverside restaurant and a live band performing next to the restaurant seats within the premise. My room was on the first floor (103) and anyone sitting in the restaurant can fully peek into my room, no privacy.
Restaurant food was awful, half-cooked, I went outside to have dinner. Interestingly to highlight the resturant charges 18 percent GST on FOOD citing some laws, however in my last 4 days i have stayed in 3 5-star hotels and paid only 5 percent GST. Moreover, when this point was raised to the front desk, they defended and later said they will waive off the GST which they did.
My question is how can MMT rate a property where basic security is missing, there is no privacy, amenities are 2/3 star. Even the average airbnb's provide better services.
it cannot be that a 4 star rated restaurant falls so below that there is even basic amenities, services, secutiy and provacy lacking. Can Mmt explaon why the hotel charges per night for nothing.
trusting MMT keeping in view the hotel amenities and experience, i urge mmt to take this seriously, and refund my money back .
