Dooars in rainy season, a different experience all together. If it combines with stay in Manabari Greens, a heritage smell of 1948 with lots of green everywhere in the bank of ghis river then it becomes memorable.

This is a very remotely located property. The fact that we travel-led all the way to the property through the treacherous roads with my immediate and extended family just to abandon our plans to stay at the property must give you an idea of the horrible state of the property. No driveway, barely any lights, dangerous looking bushes and no network greeted us to the property. The property looked so spooky that my family declined to get out of the car. Without doubt the pics shared in makemytrip are from very distant past. I dare any family with kids to travel to the property after dark and harbor any different opinion. If you are a horror movie director, you can certainly explore this property. The pathetic roads and the sheer abysmal state of the property does not make it remotely capable of being listed in mm t and sold to families as resort / sleepover. The property listing is a scam. Please “avoid at all cost”.

Dear Mr. Pradhan, You arrived at our gate but left immediately without completing the check-in procedures. You mentioned that you didn't like our property due to the tall grasses and trees surrounding the area, which is typical for a resort amidst a tea garden. You also complained about the rough roads from Kalimpong, which are beyond our control. Since it was raining heavily, we arranged a path for your car to reach the rooms directly instead of parking at the parking zone, but you refused to enter the property from the gate itself. We repeatedly requested you to stay for the night, assuring you that if you were not satisfied, we would refund you immediately. However, you started to argue and compare us with Mayfair Kalimpong and other properties. You had also ordered all the meals for dinner and breakfast, which was a complete loss for us. As you know, in these regions, the arrangement of food and amenities has to be done a day before. Even then, after you confirmed your arrival, we immediately arranged and kept all your requests in order. As an alternative, we offer you a free stay within the next 12 months at any time (subject to availability.
