Sleeping Buddha

we have booked the top floor mountain view room and it was totally worth. Hotel manager rang us in the morning for enjoying Kanchanjungha from our room window. Absolutely stunning view!!! rooms were clean and service was pretty impressive. there is no lift but that's fine.

Sleeping buddha, rishop is an excellent hotel. Its location is perfect and easy to reach. Rooms are spacious, clean and with all amenities; one can get beautiful view of full range of kanchenjunga on a clear sky day from the room itself. The food served are delicious and the chef/cook are always happy to customize to your likings. All the staff are courteous and eager to help. We had excellent 2 day stay.

The best place to stay. Kanchenjugha view from room is so enjoyable only from sleeping buddha. They wake us up through intercom so that we can enjoy kanchenjugha's view, and we enjoyed the view for more than 2 hours. This is the only hotel in rishyam. Others are home stay. Staffs are always smiling and courteous and very well-behaved. The food is great. Vehicles can be arranged from the hotel hassle-free. They maintain rate chart. The garden is also wonderful. Overall, all 3 nights were comfortable. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay, friendly staff with great big rooms and fantastic food. The location is absolutely perfect for nature lovers.

In one word it was awesome. Starting from the friendly behaviour of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the good food there is every reason to recommend sleeping buddha. Also there are good viewpoints and if weather permits you can have good view of kanchenjungha from the comforts of your room. Well recommended indeed!

Very high price for a marginal 3star hotel, no heat in room for a nearly 6000/ per day charge. Very small geyser

Excellent room good behavior of staffs and tasty foods.

It was an wonderful stay. The room was very spacious, clean and offered all the amenities available at a three star hotel room - additionally i would like to mention the bed warmer facility which made us comfortable in a sub zero temperature. The staffs were very cordial and efficient. The service was very prompt and the food quality never allowed me to think that i was sitting at such a remote location - it was comparable with any good kolkata restaurant.

Not at all worthy for money spent. Service is not good. Food is highly expensive (even as compared to the normal rate at that altitude. Food quantity is poor, quality is also not that good. No variety at all in breakfast items.

Location excellent, food not as per our north indian taste, service in remote areas are not expected.

Sleeping buddha is the best hotel one can get in rishop. Food quality is excellent and staff behaviour is outstanding. It was more of a homely feeling with outstanding service. Truly delightful experience.

Sleeping Buddha justifies the money that you spend on it. The staff was very cordial and cooperative. The location was very nice and breakfast was also quite good.

You can't expect what's being served at that altitude like Rishyap. An excellent experience. Hotel rooms are clean, well maintained. Very spacious. And excellent view from the rooms. The breakfast spread is as good as as 4 star. The staffs and specially the manager. Everyone is very cordial. Ready to help/serve your needs. The management have kept board games to keep you engaged. The manager guides very well where to go and when which is crucial if you are self driving in Hills. Wonderful experience. Moreover drivers stay and food is complementary. Even the portions are excellent. Over all a great place to stay.
