Review Of Maatidera Resort - Your Himalayan Abode

Excellent stay - food, service and hospitality - all. The only drawback in this newly built property is - it's situated at a distance of about 150 meters above the motorable road which one has to cover through a cemented footpath. After the initial hesitation particularly for senior citizens like us, it looked manageable. The resort even offered a motorcycle ride for this patch but we didn't accept the same as it was more of a joy climbing the hill at our own. And the best part is - the resort takes care of the luggage - one needs not bother. Overall it was a decent stay with one of the best mountain view - highly recommended for family and friends with kids.

Not a good location for senior citizens, you have to walk for 150m and the road is a bit narrow. no parking facility available, you have to park on the road side. Staff don't listen to what you say. I have booked a ground floor room, and they provided a first floor room without listening.

Finest stay in kanatal. Loved every bit of our stay from food to stay to view and ambiance. Perfect for nature loving travellers and for those who love mountains.

I had amazing time herey with my family, in the morning woke up to majestic sunrise and my kids were really excited to see the peaks through our balcony. We had a small trek as well going through the jungle. We also went to visit surkanda devi mandir and took blessings.

Superb location. Peaceful with himalayan view. Mud plastered rooms was a unique experience. Surkunda temple is very close just 15 mins drive. Enjoyed tehri lake which is also visible from resort. Enjoyed local food especially handmade pizza. Courteous staff and amazing service. Recreational activities and kids swing and slides added cherry to cake. Will revisit again with larger group.
