Review Of Landour Vintage Homestay

I had a lovely stay. The property lives up to its name with its old-world charm and homely warmth. The location is perfect. Tucked away in a quiet lane of Landour, close enough to Char Dukan and Lal Tibba, yet not too far from the tourist rush of Mall Road. The host was incredibly courteous and accommodating. He ade sure that I had a comfortable stay. The rooms are cozy and clean, with a lovely vintage feel. The property is set to go under renovation soon, and I think that’s exciting news. While the current setup is comfortable and charming, a little upgrade in facilities and maintenance will make it even better.

We had an excellent stay at the Landour Vintage homestay. The rooms were compact, but clean. Mr Abhinav & his son Arth both were wonderful as hosts. They were so polite & helpful. Location of the property is also very good. The Great Ruskin Bond's home is just 100 meters away. Char dukan is also nearby. You can also take a walk around Landour Chukkar every morning. Totally satisfied with the stay.

All kinds of facilities were available in the homestay. Food was also very good.Reaching the location was also easy.

The property is in a very good location in terms of its proximity to places of importance in Landour. One must be careful to approach the property from the PICTURE PALACE side of Mall road. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Location is good however few board with direction would helpful. Words would not enough to explain food, excellent homely food with personal touch. Worth staying

"The hotel was a nightmare from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and disorganized, making check-in a tedious process. The room was filthy, with stained carpets, unwashed linens, and a musty smell that hinted at poor ventilation. The bathroom was even worse, with moldy tiles, leaky faucets, and no hot water. Promised amenities, like Wi-Fi and air conditioning, were either non-functional or nonexistent. The noise from other guests and thin walls made it impossible to sleep, and the neighborhood felt unsafe, with poorly lit surroundings. To make matters worse, any attempts to raise concerns with management were met with indifference or hostility. Overall, it felt like they cared more about collecting money than providing a basic standard of hospitality."

Cleaning was okay but the room was very sophisticated and there was no privacy, the geyser was not working properly.

landour vintage is fully pleasant palace. children are very happy with swing inside. room are clean overall our trip was memorable….

Rooms are compact but resourcefull. We were happy to see living space and kitchen area so well managed in the limited space that we could move freely. Really amazed by the host's efforts and design. The host himself is very welcoming and accommodating and will help you in your trip planning. Overall a very nice experience. The location is also one of the effective points as you are less than a km away from char dukan and lal tibba. And all the famous cafes are nearby only.

Very homely and helping caretaker. Offers good homemade food and nice cleaning. Ambience is very traditional and feels nice.

I stayed there for 1 night & booked suite for our group of 7 ppl. I enjoy the stay as they have all required amenities & fully functional kitchen to give you cozy comfortable stay. Also the owner my abhinav is very supportive & polite person who helped us in all ways & made our trip memorable.
