My stay at Hyson was a very disappointing experience. From the moment I checked in, nothing matched the expectations of a comfortable hotel stay.

Excellent Stay
pros: good hospitality, neat and spacious rooms, food is really good and great spread of breakfast buffet, hotel in the heart of city- hence no difficulties in finding transportation/restaurants etc. cons: wifi was very slow insufficient hot water overall experience is really good. Will recommend this hotel to all and will stay in future as well

A decent stay, but room for improvement
I recently stayed at this hotel and found the experience to be just okay. I was traveling to attend a wedding function and had booked the standard room. On the positive side, the check in/out experience was good and the staff were courteous, the room and bathroom were reasonably clean, which is always appreciated. However, there were some areas that could be improved. The shower area was quite small, making it a bit uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the room lacked blackout curtains, which made it hard to sleep in after sunrise or have a daytime nap. Another issue was poor soundproofing — I could hear noises from the hallway, and the road directly outside, which affected my overall comfort. While the basic amenities were in place, I feel a few upgrades could significantly improve the guest experience.

The rooms were really good, really spacious. Bathrooms were clean, floors were clean. The food was amazing, so many varieties so many options and it tasted great. Overall very nice 10/10

Comfortable stay
I recently stayed at Hyson Heritage and was very pleased with their services.The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable.Service was great.The breakfast buffet was remarkable.Actually made my day!!The best choice to stay with family or solo.Very happy!!Is definitely going to me place to stay for subsequent visits to Calicut.

Reception staffs are very friendly and informative. Room is neat and spacious. We had a small issue of wifi but it was solved.

Ac does not work Room is spacious and clean they should not charge 4k for non ac rooms others things are good but AC is a concern as humidity is more

Terrible Stay
It's a very bad and old hotel with no good service. The manager is of no use who can't resolve any issue and he looks like helpless. There was no AC in the room and the for the amount we are spending, it's a worthless hotel, we have lot of other good options in caliut, please dont go for this one.

Good service and comfor
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, no request for assistance was a problem for them.The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. The bed was super comfy, and the room had all the essentials. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The hotel is well-maintained and has a safe and secure environment.
