Poor amenities, untrained staff, old buiding.Totally Bad experience
There was only one indirect light in the false ceiling of the room which is inadequate. No lights infront of the mirror. The health faucet was leaking and sprays water on our body, when using.The wash basin tap was damaged and no light. when reported the staff was not at all courteous and shouting, including the Manager. The window curtains are shabby and torn. I will not recommend this hotel.

Poor Stay
Room was comfortable and all but there was no in house restaurant even though they claim so it's closed,and they were so adamant that since I booked online i have to check out on specified time even though their hotel policy has 24 hrs check in and out my father had to beg so many times for a extension of few hours for dress change and luggage holding and they finally opened a small room just for that and multiple times they mentioned these happeneds when you book online and while checking out they forced us to give 5 stars on their hotel there was no courtesy and they are not happy about online booking,and they said don't book online next time and given their card,the rating and review shown is forced from customers not genuine

Location wise it's near to Railway Station rest it's an old property and under renovation with no food or restaurant service in-house

I would strongly recommend this hotel.
My stay was quite comfortable for all six days. Since construction/renovation work is going on, future guests will find their stay more comfortable. All the six days were without any significant discomfort.

Affordable rooms for affordable price
I had a decent stay for most affordable accommodating provided here. This place at most requirement is renovation for all the rooms. The room service was quite active all time and that was the positive thing about this place.

Bad, Very Ba
One of the worst and most overpriced experiences I've had. The rooms were poorly maintained, with cleanliness clearly not a priority. Basic amenities like toiletries were not provided, and to make things worse, there was absolutely no room service available. For the amount charged, I expected at least the bare minimum in terms of comfort and hospitality. Would not recommend this property unless major improvements are made.

Average, it should be good if the staff help you out, rude not everyone , no kettle even you pay for deluxe room. No free water to drink WiFi is name sake

A clear cheering after securing rent in advance. Service be to the cost.
1. No water in tap connected with wash basin. 2. No proper maintenance of electrical fittings; No regulator for fan switch. Slow fan. 3. Though the AC system indicated 17degree C, we felt that it more than 27 degrees. 4. TV made functioning after my call and that too after struggle for half an hour by the staff. 5. No restaurant, pre paid Bed tea brought by room service staff from road side tea vendor. 6. Reliable drinking water not provided in room, I bought water from 100 meters away restaurant. 7. Though check in time was 12PM, I occupied the room after 6 PM only. Room No 148 was not ready on our reach. 8. Bed was not hygienic to my satisfaction. 9. Though I mentioned two persons, there provided second bath towel on particular demand. 9. Only RENT?rate remained EXECUTIVE.

Worst Hotel Eve
We were a family of 5 along with a baby looking for a good 3 star restaurant near Thiruvananthapuram railway station when we stumbled across Hotel Venketeswara in the make my trip website. When going through photos, it seemed ok but unfortunately it turned out to be worst hotel stay ever. The rooms were not clean, the toilets had strands of hair and dirt probably from family/people who previously used the room, also A/C was not working properly which we did made a complaint which wasn't unfortunately addressed and extra bed wasnt provided as we opted for two rooms. This was our first time in Thiruvananthapuram which turned to be a good experience except this poorly maintained hotel.

late check in and late checkout issues.
Hotel is average, small rooms. I requested late check in and Checkout while booking through MakeMyTrip app, but it was rejected by hotel. I did check in at 6pm and requested checkout by 3pm to 4pm to hotel, but it was rejected. I was allowed to check out by 12 pm instead of 11am.
