Review Of Hotel Pondichery

There was no room service. The AC was not working to get it corrected. We had to wait for the entire day and only at 11 PM in the night. Did they take care of the situation and extra bed was given, but without a blanket, the breakfast was also an issue where they only bought breakfast for two people, whereas our accommodation was for three. The staff is not very hospitable . They are route to their customers and don't provide solutions, but rather ask us to manage.

Hospitality was good. Old Property. Need Renovation. Limited Parking Space. Walkable distance to Pondy Marina Beach.

Bar was temporarily closed, no room service, basic things like toothpaste shampoo soaps are not available. Even not given after asking. Breakfast was delayed and given at 9:15 after 4 calls to reception. It's terrible staying here after paying 9k per day. Even breakfast is just taken from another hotel and given in thali.

Very near to rock beach. Location is a great advantage. Spacious rooms. We didn't expect much so we were not dissatisfied

It’s really worst experience as the hotel couldn’t manage the sudden rainfall. Parking flooded and room not maintained properly.

Ambience was good, however we could find lot of cockroaches. Rest room would have maintained properly

Hotel is located in primary location near to beach and french colony or temple. Easily accessible from beach but rooms are being renovated recently. So some items are missing. Breakfast is brought from outaide that too limited. A2b hotel mini tiffen rate will be around 150max. But they charged 1200 extra for room with breakfast. But only 2 adult. So rooms with breakfast is waste here. Apart from breakfast. Their rooms were neat and clean. Some items were missing like tissues or toilet paper etc. But worth for money and location.

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to promenade and it is at a good location. Rooms are not clean, broken items in the washroom. No housekeeping, they won't come even after you call them multiple times. Your request will fall on deaf ears. Not worth the rate that we paid for one executive ac room.

Cleanliness is fine and walking distance from rock beach. The hotel does not have it's own restaurant for food service at room. Too many mosquitoes in the rooms

We spent New Year’s Eve in hotel Pondicherry and it was a fantastic experience . The rooms are extremely neat and clean, and the staffs are very nice . There are no restrictions for staying, so it was an excellent stay filled with memorable moments ♥️♥️🥳

No room service, not worth what we paid for room. Not sure how make-my trip will recommend. It’s not worth it.

Did not get check in. Makemytrip cancel-led my booking without informing me. Hotelier shared the email sent by make my trip to cancel my booking. I will sue make my trip at consumer court for harrasment. Hotel was cancel-led even after full payment. My money was parked illegally by make my trip for 2 days and i was not provided service as promised. I was cheated by make my trip and harassed even after knowing that there is an infant and elderly in the trip.

Hotel faculties are good. But please ensure to have some veg restaurant. Hotel house keeping service is excellent.

Surprisingly the room was very spacious. We booked the family room gore 4 adults. Bathroom was also ok. They provided only basic amenities like medimix soap n clinic plus shampoo sachet and drinking water with tea, coffee, milk, sugar sachets along with water heater. As we visited during holiday weekend, the room rent was high.

Poor facility no cold water to drink had to ask for tea coffee cups even a spoon small room no room service no food. Don't dare to stay here.

We have booked an executive room for 4+1, however we have provided 3+2 room since we have changed the date. This was really surprising, the change of date was accepted by makemy trip and got confirmation. How can we be responsible. We have paid appx 1500 extra. Pls arrange for the refund

The room was excellent, the hotel is located as stated about 3 mins walk from the promenade, this hotel also has its own parking, the staff are friendly and respectful. If a kettle and tea bags are added to the room, it would be perfect.

Booked for family and they provided food only for adults and not for children. I asked them if there is delay i can go out but they asked to stay till food come form some other hotel. No proper car parking facility. I and as per the i parked the car near the road they told me. I at night due to rain the street was flooded and my car also got impacted. Your the security and hotel team did not inform or did anything when i went at morning to take car it was flooded with water. A complete mess up and no responsibility from hotel and management. Also at night the life area inside the hotel was flooded with water. A very bad experience for me and family.

It was an amazing experience with the stay and the facility have the required amenities for the safest stay
