Hop-skip-jump from mall
The best part of the hotel is its proximity to mall, 2 mins via lower tong song road. We seem to be the first guest after pandemic hence cleanliness was not upto the mark, there were damp on the blanket. The room with a view was average, bathroom too small but it served our purpose as the geyser was functional. Overall i would have rated the hotel average but not for the behaviour of the manager samarpan and always smiling service boy raju, and of course the location.

It's a budget hotel
Booked for 2 nights. Hotel is average mainly walk able to Mall Road just 3min away. No heater need to pay extra for that.

Very bad. Do not select this hotel
Rooms are very small. The geysers didn't work properly. On 28th December 19, there was no water in the hotel.

Dear Mr. Diganta Hazarika, we are sorry to learn about your experience. You booked budget non view room which has no geyser. This is clearly mentioned in the room description. But we provided you hot water in buckets. Re no water, we are sorry and share your discomfort. But on that specific day, the municipal water supply was not available. To accommodate the guests, we purchased water, but as per traffic regulation of police, small trucks can only come during night in the mall area. As such you faced the water problem. But kindly remember that we provided you water in buckets borrowing from other places. We again express our helplessness and feel sorry for the entire sad incident. Regards,

Had a excellent stay. Very good location. Just 3 minutes walk from mall. Staff is very friendly. I recommend.

Average Stay
Staff was not available in morning when I was ready to go to Tiger Hill, main gate was locked, no any staff available. After 1 hours time about 4:45, I saw staff was sleeping in the kitchen room then he will lock off the main gate.

Dear Guest, Sorry to hear about your problem regarding opening the main gate at 3:45 AM in the morning. Please note that for security reason and also to abide by local law, we have to keep the main door locked after 9 Pm till 7 Am next morning. Guests should discuss with us if they have any need for going out early. Then we make the necessary arrangement. Hence this unfortunate incident. Thanks and regards.

Excellent service
We usually rate a hotel while ignoring the service it offers. The service makes the hotel excellent and I found the service excellent. I checked in 4 hrs early and the hotel cooperated very well.

Room with an amazing view.
The room we stayed in was a large and spacious one with two double beds and the view from the balcony was amazing. Service was also good. My family members had a little problem climbing up and down the steep flight of stairs to our room. Also the hotel was located a little interior but they had sent their staff to come pick us up from the club stand, so that was good.

Average Stay
We stayed two day. Room is very small. The second day manager gave some better room after complaint. Despite all not so good thing the nature of manager was appreciable.

Horrible experience, suggest not to book this Hotel
Very bad, rooms are very small, not cleaned, water problem, no water in the bathroom for whole night, get water after lots of arguments with the reception guy at 5:30 am. TV remote not working, flush is not working, bed's mattress is not comfortable, blankets are dirty. Hotel approach road not good, lots of mud due to rain and reception guy behavior very bad.

Dear Pritam, Darjeeling faces acute water shortage and Hotel authorities reserve the right to ration water. This mentioned in the terms and conditions of our Hotel. All the other problems you faced are linked to water shortage during that period of time.
Extremely filthy location
The Hotel itself isn't that bad but the location made it worse. The road is extremely filthy and in a nasty bylane. The stable at the lane stinks, the lane is full of mud, rubbishes and a whole lot of vat materials coming into the narrow lane. Small roadside stalls constricted the narrow lane narrower. I would recommend not to get into it.

Kindly note that we purchase fresh vegetables, fish, chicken and eggs on daily basis from market. We also use packed Marsala of reputed brand for our cooking. Hence, food quality should not be bad. Terrible Stay
Horrible stay, the geyser was not switched on totally, the reception did not answer the phone calls, there were actually 3-4 kids, below 18yrs who were actually servicing. It was a terrible stay.

Geyser timing is fixed in the morning & evening. Though we are flexible on this timing. This is clearly stated in our website and also posted in the Reception & each room. Looks like you didn't read it before booking. Reception Did not answer your call & Room Service issue - Same answer as above. Reception does not work round the clock in a budget hotel. Room service also available but Guest needs to allow 15 minutes to serve him. Again all these are clearly written on our website and also posted in Reception & each room. You missed to read these. We noted that you didn't indicate any problem in regard to room, toilet, reception & dining. We thank you for the same.
