Hotel Emerald, Chandigarh, 👍 What i like 1. Location Hotel Emerald scores well for where it is. It’s on Madhya Marg, Sector 8C. Close to markets, restaurants, and many tourist spots. 2. Good food & staff Many guests mention that the food (especially breakfast) is decent. Also, staff are often praised — polite, helpful, responsive in many reviews. 3. Value for money (sometimes) For travellers who are okay without luxury, many feel it’s “good enough” for the price, especially given its location. --- 👎 What people complain about 1. Cleanliness and maintenance issue dirty or smelly sheets, towels, bathrooms badly maintained, mould or leaks. 2. Misleading photos vs reality the rooms shown online look much better than they are in person. Rooms are spacious but decor & furniture are outdated

Rooms allotted to us in the so called new wing of hotel had a lot of dampness and smell. They were not very well maintained in terms of hygiene, cleanliness and condition of furniture. The new wing of hotel had a separate entry with lots of stairs and it was away from the main reception and restaurant.

pathetic experience, it was no where close what have shown in pictures. also the basic amenities that they've mentioned, they charge for it like a bottle of mineral water is also charged. the condition of room was sooo bad, we asked to change the room and the guy refused to give us another room. never gonna go again, I would never recommend anyone going to this property. also the staff looked intimidating, we felt uncomfortable while checking in. a group of like 5-6 boys were there at reception laughing, worst experience. the body wash and shampoo kept at the washroom smelt sooo bad as if they were expired, I have never smelled a shampoo or shower gel sooo bad. moreover it's not even a new wing as it is mentioned, it's just another property which was owned by someone else earlier and now they might have just taken over, but it's not like newly built or anything. just an old one.

It was a great experience staying at Hotel Emerald. The staff were very supportive and helpful. We would love to stay there again if we visit Chandigarh in the future.

The staff was really nice and polite. The rooms were decent enough for the price I paid. And the in house food was good.

property's location is excellent, food is good, services are good, but the only concern & challenge is that one has to climb 45 stairs in one time to get into the Hotel. No lift service is painful.

We booked a Royal room but we didnt get that room, also there were also no basic amenities, everything we have to ask for.

Great experience great stay very well decorated room nd the staff wss really very nice and cooperative well planned parking space as well, must visit place i’m planning for my next trip at same place and suggest to many friend’s. Thankyou

Clean and affordable stay. Staff was courteous. Staff were Compliant and cooperative to our requests.
