The hotel was renovating and preparing to open its restaurant, although the quality of service of its existing room was barely or not at all maintained. There were spider webs in the wall edges, furniture (sofa, bed, table, drawers) were very old and dusty. Poor room service. No proper drinkable water, no proper power sockets. Geyser was not working. Caretaker mentioned that they will turn the main power supply to the geyser in the morning, but still it was not operational. Staff was not at all knowledgable of timings of nearby monastry and restaurants. Force imposed a friend taxi driver, even when we didnt com-firm our hire for him. Made us pay an amount for him to get his car from taxi stand to hotel gate, without our approval, promoting selfish business strategies and t hugging tourists in the city. We were glad that we had only a night's stay at blue lagoon, and the overall experience is as follows: connectivity and location: 4/5
