I have stayed at several Holiday Inn hotels around the world, most recently in San Francisco, and have always found them to maintain basic amenities and good hygiene standards. However, my experience at the Holiday Inn Bengaluru was deeply disappointing.
Upon checking in late at night, I was shocked to find boiled noodles in the tea kettle and a piece of stool in the toilet commode. Such lapses in cleanliness are completely unacceptable, and these should have been thoroughly checked before handing over the keys to a new guest.
The next morning’s breakfast experience was equally poor. At 8 a.m., there were no spoons available, and the dosa and idli trays were empty for nearly 15 minutes without replenishment. For business travelers, time is valuable, and this level of service is frustrating. There was no live counter, and the limited buffet options felt like a “take it or leave it” situation. Even the tea served was stale.
I am appalled by this experience and do not look forward to staying at this property, or any other managed by this team, again.
