“Avoid This Property – Overpriced and Unpleasant Experience”

One of the worst travel experiences we’ve had in years. The property was full of ongoing renovations, making our stay noisy and unpleasant. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and far from welcoming. The rooms were dirty, televisions didn’t work, and food quality was extremely poor – their “biryani” was just tawa rice with three bony pieces of mutton. Breakfast was minimal, and the staff behaved as if serving guests was a burden. Even the small restaurant felt clueless and unorganized. Highly overpriced, very poor service, and definitely not worth the money.

Room is very different from the picture , very dirty rooms and bathroom in picture rooms are very different and clean , ambiance is okay okay , but staff behaviour are very good I really satisfied with staff behaviour ...... but room are not good very over priced

Satisfied stay. Well behaved staffs. Room was well equipped and neat and clean. We have ordered lunch there. Not very much satisfied. Tandoori roti was not properly prepared and cooked and menu is limited. But it is understood that you cannot avail food quality of proper town at a village place. So it better to order normal home type food like bhat, dal, sabji, machh, etc. But ambience and atmosphere was very good.

Enjoyed the stay at gharana resort

This is the first time i stayed at gharana resort. It's very near from kolkata. Just 30-40 km from central kolkata on the durgapur expressway just before the singer bridge. The property is well decorated. It cottage, executive and premium rooms. Swimming pool is also there. A beautiful lawn in the center. We took our two dogs to the place. It's pet friendly. The food was nice and not too expensive as well. You can try it out if you wish to spend a day at this resort.

Staff misbehavior, overpriced rooms, good food

The staff need to learn how to behave and be informed before saying anything to the visitors. Moreover, the rooms are too small for that hefty price. The area itself is small and doesn't have much to offer for the price they charge. On the other hand, the food is reasonable and good.
