Review Of Fairmount Hotel

We did not receive the rooms we booked. Huge discrepancy between what was offered versus booked. The rooms had mould on their walls, bathrooms were poorly constructed and redundant. Breakfast offered was not buffet, very oily, no other options. The newly constructed part was never offered to us. Not happy with the stay. Their room doors and bathroom doors did not close properly.

the experience was pathetic room which we booked and we get was completely different and hotel reception said pictures was different but actually they lied and room was small and hv smell on room and washroom don't have exhaust fan as a result have smell issue

The hospitality was excellent and all the services were provided rhere was alot of cleanliness in the hotel as well as in the room

The hotel seemed old and rooms seemed very old and furniture as well. Breakfast was just not worth it. Inspite of good rooms available we were given old rooms.

The location is very nice little away from traffic surrounded by greeny must visit if one choice to stay in shimla.

I don't get the room which i booked, room was very dirty, bedsheets and pillow are so dirty. Very bad experience

It was good friendly staff nice ambience would go and stay there again but only in winters time summer it doesn't make sense

Staff service was not good. And a bit far from mall road, so anyone traveling for first time must choose near by mall road. From this hotel you will need taxi to travel.

Booked 2 night stay. Hotel is located faraway from city, appraoch road was bad, big vehicle will have problem to reach if not an experienced driver. Now coming to services, they did not provide toileteries, did not clean the room stating that we did not ask for clean, i mean we need to ask to clean rooms. Then while doing checkout billed for extra bed. Which was not told at the time of checking. And they stated u booked for very less. Rooms are not worth more than 3 k per night. Bathrooms were leaking and very small. Overall our experienced was ruined due to staff behaviour

Everything about this hotel was as good as we were lead to believe, the service, the food, the rooms, the facilities were all really good. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If the chance ever arises again, we will be back!

This is an excellent hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in night and the food was excellent. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Comfortable and relaxing stay. Very good service and good food. The rooms are clean and neat. Mr. Vijay and his team were very helpful. We especially enjoyed the food and the bonfire. Would definitely like to go there again.

It's a beautiful property on the top of the hill. Very well maintained facilities and extremely hospitable staff. Excellent over all it was great experience.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Below expectations, most of the items were not available from the menu, electricity cuts, poor wifi. Only good thing about the hotel was smiling receptionists.
